I used side-imaging to scan a creek channel for brush. I finally found some brush with active fish. The water temperature is still warm, but the Crappie are starting to bite. Thanks for watching and Please consider subscribing! Squirrel

So I'm new to this, always love fishing, been stuck on the bank so I never really learned certain things, learn catfish and crappie when in season, but I hooked my first huge Bass the other night and it's really got me motivated to be a better Angler. So I'm trying to learn sonar for when I can get out on the water that's how I found you, but I had another question. Do you have any tips on where to start looking with your sonar, I doubt you idle all over the lake cluelessly. I feel like there's key locations you start, I'm sure it's different per species but I wouldn't mind learning them all. I've always really liked fishing but that bass the other night really made me fall in love with the sport.
I will give you a tip that a professional guide told me. Don’t try to fish the whole lake. Pick one creek arm and fish it year around for the species you are targeting. Once you established pattern then you can go to other parts of the lake and know where to look for fish. That’s why you see most of my videos are in Cane creek of lake keowee. I’m still learning too. I’m glad my videos are helping you out. 🐿
You may have a video on this already I'm not sure, but I couldn't notice how quickly and efficiently you put that cookie dough bait on that jig head, it takes me forever to line it up and get it just right. I tried to watch but you do it so fast lol, is it possible to get a tutorial in the future
Hey Sampy ! It depends on the color palette for 2D ; however, on side and down scan they will be bright white like a grain of rice instead of a dot like crappie and bluegill. I will try to get a video showing that for you. Thanks for the video idea. 🐿.
