Just got my first tarantula today, unsexed B. Emilia. I am so obsessed! It’s a little skittish but mostly very calm and curious. Can’t wait to see it grow. 🤍
Incredible footage to see them out in the wild, our beloved lazy docile pet rocks. Loved how much you could afford to play with the first female literally pushing her into her home
I currently have a captive bred female she so sweet and shy as well not a mean little hair on her whittle butt lol both those little sweetie are beautiful and so typical of the breed though I would have thought they would be more defensive in the wild wonderful video thanks so much for sharing 😍
One of the most beautiful species ever. I adore my two girls, but they are the worst hair kickers that I have. They even kick hair more than my boehmei girl does.
Another fantastic video! Any idea what the humidly level is in the burrow? They do not appear very deep-at least the burrow that was exposed beneath the rock. Again, good stuff!
I'm always amazed how Brachypelma tarantulas survive in the wild. They have such slow growth rates and are vulnerable for years. I'm raising slings that were born in October 2018 and they are still so small...
I have a 25+ year old female and she is very large. Not just in DLS, but she is very bulky at that age. I think it makes a big difference in their appearance when they are of the age where they have really bulked up. It's not often that you get to see footage of them at that stage.
Brachypelma emilia's are so stunning! They have a very bit spot in my heart. This is a wonderful video. Great to see how they live in the wild and even so their temperament is still so docile. This has given me some ideas on how to set up my one's new enclosure to mimic their natural habitat
