A little change of pace for todays video. When we pulled the RS engine we found some unfortunate damage and various cranks on the engine. Today, we dive into it and 100% repair the engine block and replace any compromised parts!
some serious ASMR with the torque wrench and such calming elevator music to go along with the very relaxing speaking..... very nice change to your normal videos. Bravo
Probably the most relaxing video ever. Can't wait to see the car up and running again. Would y'all just let Sabrina just do her thing. She's got it covered.
this is in the introduction to advanced mechanics. you can tighten a bolt to break it loose before undoing it. there are benefits to this method. google is your friend. 😂
Dylan has been such an amazing addition to the crew. Bummer that Ian moved on but I love the way you encourage your friends and colleagues to strive to be their best selves.
Tj …. I’m sure you know … but Dylan is without a doubt the reason why you have been able to take this Chanel to the next level …. I’ve been a manager for 20 years and good people like that are so rare that when you find one , never let them go …. Do whatever you have to do to lock that man in for life … I’m sure you do right by him….. you got a great team which is what allows you to take this as far as you have… love what you guys do… keep making great content
I really appreciated the Dylan ASMR section of the video. The sweet sweet sounds of metal clacking together, torque wrench wrenching, and sockets twisting. Music to my ears.
sorry for my french, but holy fkin shit, im loving the silence of watching dylan build this engine together AND using the right torque to put the engine back together
Regarding your clips vid from yesterday, I didn't get a chance to watch it until now, so here's my opinion (if it matters to you), If it was me and I didn't care about views, I would go for the 997, mostly because I love the way they look and I don't like Lamborghini. However, for you, I would suggest the Aventador because it will get you the most views, it will attract a lot of younger people to the channel because younger kids seem to love Lambos, it will very likely be the most profitable of the three, regardless of if you sell it or not, you want one anyway, and you just did a 991 gt3/gt3rs, so viewers would be burnt out on Porsche content. I wouldn't even consider the 992 rs because if it ends up being 380k there's no point. After you put in the time and buy the parts, it would have almost been better to just purchase a brand new rs, without a salvaged title.
Impressive work guys, my ONLY concern is you didn't mark any of the bolts you torked down. It is good practice to do, especially when working on such expensive motors.
Awesome video as always TJ and Sabrina. These videos with a slow laid-back vibe are so awesome but what the channel needs is more Sabrina in the videos because she the star of the show.
I've done some weld repairs on expensive engines & motors (tesla rear motors seem to get damaged the most) & and haven't had any issues. Looks like your welder & Dylan did a great job!
Video Fact: TJ said the word “Engine” 8 times in the first 45 seconds of the video 😂 Sorry!!! I couldn’t help myself i just kept hearing it so had to count😂
I was not raised with the “torque everything” mindset. I’ve never had any issues with just going by feel. Of course I torque things like head bolts, main caps, etc. But anything outside of the internals, I guess I feel for tight-but not breaking the bolt. But everyone is different.
Commend you on trying something different. However, way too much torque wrench ASMR. You have a comedian in Dillon, and you cast him in a drama. Did not enjoy it. Please return to the fun-loving friends who build sweet rides.
