Have you ever been betrayed by a close friend or a loved one? Does it seem impossible to forgive that person? In this transparent message, Pastor Phil Waldrep shares how to overcome the natural feelings of denial, bitterness, and a need for vengeance, by embracing biblical forgiveness. The benefits of forgiveness include relief from the pain of the betrayal, release from the need for retribution, and a healthy sense of detachment from the situation.

“I don’t feel like it, but I choose to forgive - I lay the chains down.” This man has the best message and practical advice on how to do it!

Give me strength Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking for your blessings as a single mom. My husband is in heaven with you. I’m raising my children with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face with my sons both being autistic. Lord as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men.

Praying for you friend. If you feel speaking to a counselors would he helpful (at no cost to you), call 855-771-HELP (4357) weekdays between 6 A.M. and 8 P.M. (MT). Just give your number to the Family Help Center staff member who answers the phone. They will pass along your phone number to one of our caring Christian counselors. One of them will return your call just as soon as they’re able. We hope to hear from you soon.

Amen! I needed to hear this message. The last year I have talked to myself about forgiveness, but not actually done it. 🙏 💪 ♥

I learned not to keep a account of offenses when I was a young man. Im almost 60 now and I'm only now realizing offenses other's have held against me and thing's done to me that I hadn't even thought of.

My dad came after me with a two by four when I dropped out the highschool and I ran out of the house and never went back because my mom left him and he moved away. I have been homeless almost all of my adult life and I had a catastrophic head injury when I took a job that would only pay for a room and riding my bike to work is when a city elet down a RR type gate without warning breaking it and my scull when I was 40. I was misdiognosed and left without pain management and homeless again. I only heard that my dad died through a doctor. I didn't have anything against him,one of the few times I talked to him on the phone not long after I left and I had become a Christian and I told him that I forgave him. He said he didn't know what he needed forgiveness for. I talked to him a couple times after that on the phone and that was it. I would have seen him but he lived states away and I was in the poverty everyone doesn't want to believe people have been put in by a evil government. I never saw my daughter either after my wife left me, mostly for the same reasons. The men of this country have been being attacked for sixty years.

It's always been on my heart to build tiny homes if I won the lottery. So many need help. Keep praying for help and for God's blessings. He promises us a life abundant but we must believe.
