Oh yeah, gem hunting at goodwill is always fun. It's the thrill of the hunt. Finding descent tv's with s-video inputs and hdmi switching is great to test these older consoles too
The Xbox 360 S is more reliable than the early models, and the Xbox 360 E is even more stable than that, although you lose a few USB ports and a legacy video port in the deal. I'd say thirty dollars is a more than respectable price. (Get your game downloads soon, though! The 360 version of the Microsoft store closes in about a week!)
Yeah I definitely know how it feels getting a wii remote with a bunch of corrosion crap in the battery area. I got a colored wii complete in box from a seller and everything was good, except the wii remote's battery area which was filthy as hell. I cleaned it out but jeez, it was not fun and we shouldn't have to be the ones to clean this shit when the sellers/stores are the ones who should have the stuff cleaned beforehand. Good news on my complete in box colored wii, I got it for way less than a store would've sold it for hands down. I paid $125 for it when it could've easily been $300 at a retro store.
