The littles, Josh and I head to the creek to find some geodes. We bring along a special guest, our chocolate lab Decoy. We find some beauties! We add some cleaned up photos of our finds at the end of the video. Enjoy!
You guys are gonna HAVE to get a soil pipe cutter to crack some of those. There's SO MANY!!! I saw at least 100 geodes in this video that you didn't pick up or mention... Probably more like 1000 LOL. You are so lucky to have that creek on your property! What a honey hole!!!
@@thebarlowfamily dude you need one. I know they’re expensive but you’d definitely get some use out of it and if you ever want to sell it you can get endless offers from your subscribers 😆
What an awesome place to get to go to !! I have never been to IN to look for geodes & fossils but hope to sometime soon 🤞🏽 It’s so hard to narrow down where to go 🤷🏼♀️ not knowing the area. 3 Counties is a BIG area! Any tips besides Otis park would be greatly helpful & appreciated 😊. It’s just me & my 5lb companion dog Luna.
Hoosier National Forest in the Monroe Co area allows collecting but it’s often so picked over that it’s hard to find much. Most of the properties with mass quantity of geodes are private, unfortunately. Otis Park and it’s surrounding are really the only public places for geode collecting in Indiana to my knowledge :(
