What I found so relevant to my story was where he shared that no one, including the adults in his life, knew what to say so they didn't say anything. So the power of the bully prevailed as the most authoritative voice in my life.
I had the privilege to hear Pastor Sy about 15 years ago. He was DYNAMIC!! God used the ashes of his life to CHRIST'S MAGNIFICENT BEAUTY. Can't wait to see him again. Maranatha!
What!!!!!????? He passed away??? Oh man!!! I met Sy at teen Mania in 2010 and I knew his testimony was a wonderful thing for my generation and younger to hear in these times. So sad to hear of his passing. He was a fun man to talk to and a Godly minded man.
Why would anyone want bad love if they can have PERFECT and UNCONDITIONAL love of our Saviour? Just open up and seek the Lord with all your heart. Be blessed!

I've listened to this message 3 times and I just can't stop learning. I've heard that the more you listen to the same thing the more your mind renews and kicks out the old.....EVENTUALLY...it will stay and not come out the other ear 🤣 Jesus thank you for Focus On The Family and for this message, can't wait for the next one.

I happened upon Sy and I just think he was so gifted with oratory skills and insight into our human frailties in light of Gods word. What a testimony, but can be applied to other sin were in! He denied himself and followed Christ! Right on Sy! Meet you in heaven

I started listening to this program on the radio. I had to turn it off. His hollering and anger were so disturbing I couldn't believe it was coming from a Christian. We have too much anger in our world. I would hope that our Lord Jesus would eventually remove his anger.
@Daphne Kivinen I'm sorry to hear Sy's passion struck you that way....If you watch the video, rather than just listen, you can SEE his motivation more clearly. He's speaking out of passion to defeat Satan's lies, and from the emotion of being molested as a very young boy. He has a lot of energy (and the women in this audience are really cheering him on), AND he also has a sense of humor. Sadly, he passed away last year. I'm sure his wife would say he was NOT angry....he really found peace in the Lord, and in teaching these messages to help others.
@@lisacadman3842 Thank you for your kind reply. It really is hard to listen to especially when I myself am experiencing emotional trauma. I want to speak out with similar passion, but I don't want to sound that way because I want to lead people to Jesus. Perhaps this should not have been on the radio.
