He really has opened up more and more and more. This was 2010 but even this year he talked openly about holding younger talent back and not just GIVING IT AWAY. There is a ridiculous work ethic that doesn't get talked about as much as others try to tear him down like he STOLE something. NO ONE outworked Hogan in Wrestling History from appearances, to gym, to matches, to writing, to career length, to keeping body shape through old age, and also philanthropy. A very misunderstood man who is letting us in on his flaws and regrets as he gets older and thats extremely admirable.
I also heard that he was unreal in terms of fighting through pain. There were times he could barely walk in WCW and Kevin Nash said when he walked through the curtains he would mentally and physically just push through it and go to levels that no one else could ever imagine. He literally gave his body to wrestling and his tolerance for pain was unmatched. It’s sad to see him now though. So much pain mentally , physically and emotionally. I hope he finds peace and comfort in his golden years
What an inspirational story. Hogan still one of the best person who entertains people after the struggles that he had. And the best of this, he didn't quit... That's why all people now saying to HOGAN..... "We SALUTE You" Your the best icon for all of the ages...
No, Hogan was way more successful than the guy portrayed in that movie. Maybe injury wise though. Hogan should never of been wrestling at his age but I think he loved it too much plus his idiot ex wife took all he had. Dumb bitch never had to lace up a pair of boots and put her body through torment yet took it all from Hogan.
I hope that every man takes a hard look at what marriage can do to you. Kids are always dragged in the middle. In most cases, men want 50/50. But women want everything. There is a reason why they say a diamond is a women's best friend. It is all about the money. There is a reason why they say a dog is a man's best friend. We enjoy the simple things in life!
Hopefully he has a good woman now, I think they are still together so I pray its going well for him. Yes, I agree that his first wife was a gold digger.
@Bob 1 I have a feeling Hulk has a hard time staying away from wrestling...it's a shame if she is pushing him to keep going, because his body couldn't handle it 10 years ago smh.
I met him at TNA at universal studios such a nice guy!!!! He almost bought my friends dads scarab boat when we were kids! They went to his Clearwater home and drank beer with him! I was sooo jealous lolol
come on people. He is an entertainer! He has been thanking God since the begining of his career. That is why he will always be blessed. Im thankfull for mercy and grace.
That documentary was touching, disturbing and inspiring at one way. Considering the crap he was in and what he made out of it makes him some kinda role model, people should take serious. I had never guessed that this whole shit could happen to an icon like him. He was on top of everything one is dreaming of and this shows how sudden all can break down. Thanks for uploading this! And Hulk, you were my teen yrs-idol and you still are a totally inspiration.
Hulk hogan sounds like wimp but then he did have a divorce and money issues which we all have. Im glad hes doing well, he will be one of my top 5 wrestlers even to this day
What an awesome touching story! I stopped watching wrestling in the early 90's when I was a late teen getting into heavy metal and trouble. I knew all the players though, had my favorites, went to some live events, but I never appreciated what they put themselves through. Now as a middle aged woman I get it. Thank you Hulk Hogan for many years of entertainment!
These comments are extraordinary. All this hate for this guy and for what reason? Because he didn't put your favourite wrestler over in the late 80s? He drank and did some drugs? He's not up to your personal standards as a performer? Man that's evil! Meanwhile, I checked out a Chris Benoit video and nothing but praise from the self-proclaimed wrestling aficionados. Half of them are convinced he's innocent based on their own "research". This is why I stopped watching wrestling 10 years ago.
It's really hard to watch this..Hogan was my hero when i was a kid. If only i have the money i would share it to you Hulk..i want you to have a better life. God bless. Stay safe
That wrestler film is spot on this man is the King Kong of wrestling imagine a normal wrestler who fell off, still hulk is a millionaire again and doing well hulkamania lives on
Immortal should never have been gone through all the bad stuff put his trust in wrong woman but still, he proved he is the hulk hogan nothing can stop him, age is just a number.
YOU ARE THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL HULK..YOU'VE BEEN MY HERO SINCE I SAW YOU IN ROCKY 3.. LIKE ALL THE MILLIONS OF OTHER KIDS AROUND THE WORLD.. I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU GAINING MORE THAN YOU LOST.. GOD BLESS YOU.. AND YOUR AWESOME FAMILY.. BROTHER'' LOVE YOU HULKSTER
Hulk you made wrestling!!! It wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't up to you!!!! Hope your life goes well !!! Keep your dreams alive!!! You will never be forgotten!!!!! Dream on BROTHER!!!!
Dixie really loves plug in the whole impact word. He keeps talking about Hulk Hogan and the impact, knowing that's the name of her show that ended up failing
Terry Gene Bollea is a very great wrestler but also he is a great man as well. Yes some bad things has happen to him but also bad things happens to everyone no matter if ur famous or not. Even tho I dont know him personaly by watching this I see him in a whole new light as just a normal man. And I have been a fan of his since 1984 & I am still a fan & I always will be.
Hulk Hogan is the best and the greatest personality in the Wrestling business. Nobody will be better ever in all time, never will become the same potential ever.
Love ya hulk ....as kid I looked up to you .now as a man I still do . Doing construction my back is fucked up but sometimes in life you have to work ...I respect that
people are so quick to berate this man, but look what he has put himself through just to entertain fans, he is one of a kind, but also as people forget he is a human being that has all the problems that we all have
Hogan has some issues with him....but,,,he get the most respect from me out of everyone because Hogan was wrestling in huge events in his 40s,50s...it really was cool...people now turn 29 and they say they retiring and crap and you are always worried who is going to retire and leave next...when we watched wrestling, ,,we knew sting,Hogan, savage, Luger, flair....ect..was going be there whooping ass
And I think that's why I took wrestling for granted when I was a kid was because I thought that they would always be there. I thought they would be there every Monday night... FOREVER lol I was so stupid at 7 8 9 years old but that's what I really thought. I thought they would be there whenever I wanted to watch them. Smh.
He is a regular guy as we are, nobody is perfect, all we made mistakes in life, the important is to overcome them and be a better guy. He did that, and its really valuable because he is under the public opinion everyday, so the effort that he did to overcome his past and his mistakes were as much as ours but everybody was looking at him at the time. Go Hulk! Go Terry! = )
As kids we idolized Hulk Hogan. Me and my brother threw mattresses on the ground and had wrestling matches and pretended we were Hulk Hogan. Now my kids do the same thing. Hulkamania will live forever.
I think Hulk Hogan is the greatest ever! I remember when I was ten and WWF was brand new......wow what great times!!! I remember when he slammed Andre The Giant!!! He was always my favorite wrestler and will always be in my eyes. I
This documentary was ten thousand times better than the wrestler i never seen the side of hogan and its amazing to see a person come out of a life altering situation like this for the better i can def relate this but in a different way..
I remember back in the day when I first saw you I forget which match it was are you always bigger than life and seeing what you went through and what you're doing now gives everyone hope you always will be an inspiration to a lot of people
The ending was very sad to watch. I know he loves wrestling and he would still be doing what he loves in the ring if it wasn't for his back still to this day. After everything he went through, HULK is still a Legend. I grew up watching this dude with Andre, Jake the Snake and Macho Man. This guy been through so much and he deserves so much happiness.
I've just recently started to begin my travel down the wrestling road, and after watching this, it's almost like a word of warning... this along with the Scott Hall E60 with ESPN. I'm fortunate that people like Hogan are still here to change the business in a positive way.
Cant even compare it to 30+ years of wrestling. I'd probably would be dead if I became a prowrestler, there's only a special few who can do this job, and actually love it
