Welcome to our channel! We love Indiana State parks and visit them pretty frequently. The hiking trails are laid out well with great markings, and Salamonie was no different!😁👏🏻
I know that park well. Watched Army Corps build the dam. I hiked the Tree Trail hundreds of times with friends and family over 60 years. Thank you for the video.
Jellied cranberry sauce or in my family cranberry jelly, but stuffing is a close second. Family is not freight - have you met my family??? Just kidding dear. I don't think Liquid Springs are in the immediate future for my ghost, but one never knows. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Favorite Thanksgiving food . . . Pumpkin pie for dessert after Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Pumpkin bread preceding Thanksgiving dinner! The theme is PUMPKIN! 🎃Thanks.
Loved the video. We live about 25 miles from the park and enjoy camping there. I also like the blower idea. Definitely going look into one. Every fall they lower the level of the lake. down to the river level. Thank you for all your great videos.
The blower is a great tool for the campfire! Ours was pretty inexpensive and makes it more fun haha We read on their page about the water levels and found it to be interesting! Still didn't expect to see a boat out there😂
Excellent feedback on Liquid Springs. Glad it’s working out for you. Got the blower on my list of things to pick up. Fall is out favorite time to hike. Especially in the NE.
I love the cooking for Thanksgiving and especially how Mike eats the pecan pie. we haven’t been able to get out in our RV for a while and I really look forward to your videos! Your passion and enthusiasm is great fun to watch.
I really enjoy cooking Thanksgiving in our RV every year.😁 Mike says why get a plate dirty for the pie when it's just us😂 makes sense. Glad you can enjoy our travels and adventures with us... Stay tuned, Doug, because we have plenty more in store for Winter
I had to stop at 8:33……your moms stuffing recipe looks EXACTLY like my moms!!! It’s my favorite part of thanksgiving dinner too. My mouth is watering! Guys little tongue at the beginning……so precious! The emotional boy, all comfy and happy in the Wraith with mom, dad and sister. Sleeping soundly like a happy, secure and much loved pup does. One of these days I’d love to meet Guy and Piper. Their personalities are so cool. Oh, and the both of you too. Haha! Dogs always come before humans for me. 🐾❤️🐾 Edit…Pipers coat has a hood!!!! So cute! 13:18 I’d miss them too🐾🐾
The stuffing turned out so good this time too! Guy and Piper are always down to meet new people. Piper is much better with people lately, still not so much with dogs though🤦🏼♀️ three hood is removable to sometimes we have it on and sometimes off
Can't go wrong with stuffing! Sometimes I make it just because. Haha yeah we were both filming and I didn't know about that shot until I started to edit lol
Man oh man all that thanksgiving food looked amazing!!! Now I’m hungry…thanks! LOL. Mike, you should have taken the polar plunge!!! Ahhh looks like my old home state of Indiana for sure!!! 😁
My favorite shot of the video was Guy on the sofa with his tongue sticking out a bit. For Thanksgiving, the turkey is my favorite food because I was a diabetic and now I cannot eat potatoes or stuffing or pie; no starch or sugar.
Really Good Pecan Pie, I am from Colorado originally, and never had Good Pecan Pie, till I tasted home made Pecan Pie in North Carolina. It is , and was Absolutely Wonderful. Just Saying.
I made a homemade cranberry and cream cheese dish for Thanksgiving. It was the first year I made this dish. I do love pecan pie. Nice hike to the falls.
Dinner looks good But i bet it smelled even better 😎,i do agree that the stuffing is the best part 😁, My wife’s recipe is similar but instead of the eggs she uses sausage.
My favorite thanksgiving dish is my wife’s stuffing, as long as it’s out of the Turkey. Hers is bread, butter, sage celery, onion and cook it in the Turkey
Hey, Great job on the drone images and nice shot of the shocks in action plus your video editor needs a raise.... awesome job. I watching your data reports. I need to find a good wifi service. Thank you guys for the video.
Didn't have any drone shots in this video🤔 but thank you! We mounted the GoPro for the LiquidSpring suspension and think they came out pretty cool!👏🏻 Glad you're finding the cell info helpful! We thought it would be good info to pass along😊
We did not have turkey or ham for Thanksgiving. We had Bison Brisket. On the grill. It was very good. And for Christmas we are having Bison Prime Rib on the grill.
Question: I’m not trying to start anything, but I see a lot on Facebook about quality issues with Nexus. A lot of dissatisfied customers with quality. What is your overall satisfaction level with Nexus? Just asking as a potential future buyer. Thanks in advance. Love the channel
Overall we are very happy with it. The problem we've seen from others is that you can't expect show hauler fit and finish when you're paying a fraction of the price. We've had no major issues with our Wraith and we'd buy one again. The good news is that we looked at some new Nexus models at the Hershey RV show in September and we were very impressed with the improved build quality. There are little things here and there that need to be fixed but we use our Wraith pretty heavily. We paid $140,000 brand new, we couldn't beat it. People have complained that it's very hard to get in touch with Nexus concerning Warranty repair, and they aren't wrong. You have to be persistent. I'm not saying it's right, it's just the way it is right now with how busy they are. Luckily for us I do almost everything myself because it's easier not taking it in for work and it gets done way faster. Otherwise it would cost us fuel and camping time.
Right now, you will have build quality issues with EVERY manufacture. In May of 2021 we purchased a highly rated Class A gas and spent the entire summer having all the issues fixed, dash AC, livingroom slide, combo washer/dryer, various loose and noise from loose and improperly installed items and on and on. We have looked at Nexus and if we were to move to a Super C we would closely look at Nexus because we do not want to spend $250,000 plus for something used not fulltime.
That isn't new for the RV world, unfortunately. They have never been built to a standard/code. I'd love to be the one who implements a RV building code that manufacturers would have to adhere to but I don't see things changing until they're forced to build them better with ACTUAL QC inspections along the way.
Another great video...How do you guys deal with freezing temps and winter camping? For like...keeping warm and preventing lines from freezing & getting damaged)
Just another reason why we chose this rig! It was much more capable of doing year long trips! Our fresh water tank is under our bed so it stays the same temp as inside the coach. Heated and enclosed dump valves, which we added an outlet that is wired to the inverter, that we mounted a small space heater that we can use while going down the road or when parked. We have camped down close to 0F with lots of snow and never had an issue yet!
Well this was liquid spring a suspension factory but I've actually grown quite fond of the convection oven and a real oven isn't a priority anymore. I'm surprised I feel that way myself haha
Our current rig (Nexus Wraith 34W) is the warmest and this was our first motorhome so it's the quietest because trailers aren't ridden in but you know they aren't quiet😜. We camp all Winter long and have been down to single digits and 0 without issues
@@WanderingWagners My grandmother's secret (old Russian, she loved root vegetables), peel, cube and boil turnip as expected, but add a peeled and halved medium regular or sweet onion. Boil, mash with turnip with 2 pads of butter. This gets rid of the bitter flavor, but Guys nostrils will still snort!
I'll have to give that a try! There's an onion in the baked mashed potatoes and it gives it so much delicious flavor you wouldn't expect. Makes sense to try an onion in with the turnip
Thank you! While You could buy a bigger rig with air ride, still with upfront higher costs, but it's actually still cheaper to go the route we went. Liquid spring is a much better system than air ride and while it does cost a pretty penny, we didn't have to spend it on a coach with air ride so it was more cost effective this way. Air ride isn't that great. I was a truck driver for 20 years so I'm very familiar. LiquidSpring is a smart suspension which is pretty awesome and I think it'll be the new high class standard for RV suspensions! It's been offered in a ton of motorhomes now with more on the way.
