As an artist it is so important to WORK HARD- I bet you thought I was going to say "be inspired" didn't you? The reality is that being inspired also takes work. It can mean being in the right place at the right time. It wont come find you on the couch.
So in August I took off to the mountains to chase that inspiration down. Thankfully I found it, and didn't find any bears or injuries. That is the risk of leaving the couch. I brought my iPad to do some digital plein air while I was out on top of my usual reference photos. Over the long Montana winter I will dig through the bounty and once again find myself inspired.
