I'm so sorry you had flooding in your basement. ❤ Back in 2013, we too had an unusually heavy rain and our basement took on a 1/2 inch of water. It soaked the carpet and we did lose many items. It was a mess! But nothing major happened (the furnace, etc was all fine!) So we thanked God for that favor ❤

We had a Mulberry tree in our backyard when my 3 kids were growing up. My husband would climb up in the tree and shake the limbs(with a sheet on the ground to catch all the berries that would fall off)! We all loved it when I made a cobbler!! Blessings.

Our town and area flooded from a river a few weeks ago.. crazy how much damage water can do. Grateful it didn’t get to our house but did get on our acreage. No big deal though. Feel so bad for everyone who got water in their basements and first floors 😢
Ahhh, it looks so nice there! We were thinking of SD when we decided to leave NY, but we chose East TN. I'm about to regret it this summer because it's SO HOT!! 🥵 I miss Buffalo weather.
