Took my Cousin Kendal Fishing this past Saturday to Rudee Inlet in Virginia Beach. It was a blistering hot day with heat indexes of 115. We got an early start and really tried to find some larger Flounder. Our trip was successful!.

Me and my bro hit HRBT last week in the gnarly Southern breeze and incoming tide catching flatties ranging between 17" - 19"! Nasty waves and chop. All the other kayaks stayed in the calm waters and had zero luck. Nice catch, Jesse!

Nice job on flatties! We slayed them in NJ in the heat wave also. Got some up to 25". Freezer loaded up and bringing them back to NC!

No matter what the size limit is; typically most flounder caught in Rudee Inlet will be 1/2 inches under size.

Ever targeted or caught sheep's in rudee? They have to be in there somewhere from the aquarium to the jetties. I've tried a many times over the years but usually gave up and switched gears.

Yeah I have caught some in there before. Around the pier pilings for the Coast Guard boats I guess they are. Around the bridge pilings as well. Biggest one I've caught was probably 12 in

Hey man 3 Miles out by the dump buoy use a clark spoon on a 32 ounce sinker and troll at 8 knots...Kings are there and caught a 30 inch Spanish Sunday
