I worked in a bridal shop in college and the woman who said your dress does not exist is not a good bridal consultant and probably was just annoyed that they didn't have what you were looking for and wanted to make the sale. your dress definitely exists, even if that means needing to add sleeves/working with a designer to change some things

Dress 14 is gorgeous on you, the neckline was really flattering and the satin looks amazing. I think if there was some beading to give it more detail and the sleeves that you tried on with the other dresses would be perfect

Hi Mia! I’m a wedding planner and I have seen MANY dresses in my career, and first of all, your dress MOST definitely exists! The sales rep was probably trying to make the sale. With that said, the dress that you were confused to why you didn’t feel right in it (although it was the closest to your style) I think the reason you felt that way was because the bodice enclosed and overtook your upper frame. You have a very delicate upper frame and in most dresses you have shown on your channel that are sweetheart, they really have to be closer to a Demi-cup look so that it doesn’t look like it’s swallowing you :) I LOVE the fairytale over the top embellished look on you, because you remind me of a fairy! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! The square neckline looked classic and beautiful, but will that look be satisfying to you on the long run? Try a scoop neckline if you can find one! Also, There are dresses that are satin and lace and they don’t clash-another misconception on your rep’s guidance. I would look into transition dresses that have lace skirts that are removable for the reception and underneath is a slimmer empire style skirt in satin! Check count Aire Barcelona dress line!

Dress 4 was absolutely gorgeous and would 100% be my wedding dress. Looked like an elegant fairy dress, and would look amazing if you added a poofy sleeve! Fitted you amazingly as well and really showed off the beauty! I also loved dress 6 a whole bunch too! :)

The bridal consultant at my first 4 stores basically told me my dream dress didn’t exist and tried to convince me to just buy something I liked without having the “moment” The 4th store I went to had exactly the style I was looking for and I cried when I got my dress. Don’t let them tell you your dress doesn’t exist.

Dress 14 is I think one of the most flattering for your frame. I love the more square neck as well. I would just add a bit more detail and beading to the top with some matching sleeves and it would be stunning. Satin definitely is eye catching. I think it's just gonna take trying on a few more to find out what you are really going for.

When I got married (15 years ago) I bought the dress that my “entourage” liked the most, not the one I did. Make sure you go with where your heart leads you. When choosing the dress, go with what you feel and not what you think. The perfect dress is out there, whether you design it yourself or find it in a store, and you will know it when you find it, just don’t overthink it. Congrats!

Lemme just say, I got married at 20, and I want you to feel YOU in the wedding dress. Don’t pick because other people to, if it doesn’t hit with other people, doesn’t matter. A dress that is an embodiment of YOU is what you want. Congratulations btw!

My mom designed her own wedding dress in the 90’s and to this day it’s the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen. If you’re not convinced try designing your own dress

I honestly love dress 14. I know it doesn’t have the lace, but with the right sleeves, could send a “fairy queen” vibe. Also! The drapey lace sleeves you tried on with the other satin dress is a must, in my opinion

Dress 8 with the sleeve was chef's kiss perfection 10/10. The sparkly fringe and the satin ones looked great but #8 looked AMAZING on you and seems to fit your personality and theme.

The dress I wanted didn't really exist *IN REGULAR BOUTIQUES* either, so my mom is going to make it and it will be GORGEOUS! Don't be afraid to find someone who can design your dream dress for you if you can't find it in stores.

I will say what several people will say-"You will KNOW the dress" when you put it on, you will KNOW. Don't let others dictate-buy YOUR dress. Love YOUR dress. You will be beautiful in ANY dress, as you are in all your wear. So buy YOUR Dress. Woohoo!

I wore a satin dress for my wedding and it was amazing!! Things to consider… 1. Weather on wedding day and vibe of venue 2. Tight dresses can get uncomfortable throughout the day! 3. If you’re going to hold flowers, don’t let the dress overpower them :) everything should complement!

Dress 14 is amazing! My wedding dress was also satin and it was so comfortable, beaded or lace dresses tend to be so heavy and weigh you down. I believe comfort is a huge deal when it comes to wedding dresses because you will be wearing it for a long time.

I think I really like the slight scoop neck. It looks softer than the square neck. I think that neckline combined with the sleeves and either an a-line or trumpet silhouette would look really good.

Dress 3 was beautiful on you. It was simple, classic, and timeless. It made you elegant. I like the idea of opera gloves as opposed to the dorky sleeves. Far more preferable! #12 is pretty. Dump the sleeve! It turns it into a nightgown.

Number 9 with the sleeve reminds me of Lord of the Rings elves. Sooooo pretty! Also, never let a Bridal shop tell you a dress doesn’t exist, they are just trying to deter you from shopping elsewhere. You can always get a custom wedding dress made if you REALLY want to as well!

Don’t feel bad about a fully customized dress. My mom helped me pick out a bunch and put them all together along with the additional fabric we bought. Got my dream fairy princess dress that way. Took a mixture of wedding and prom dress to get what I wanted lol she reused the left over materials for other fun projects for the grand babies

I think it’s important to remember that you can always get your wedding dress designed from scratch and alterations are always a thing! You can always add sleeves to anything you like 🥰 Edit: #14 was my favorite 😍
