Your whole rant about the 6months away issue with planning your wedding is the whole struggle I am going through with planning my own wedding. My fiance and I have been engaged for over a year now and we haven't even set a date, it'll all just so much to try to plan especially since i'm still getting my degree. Just... UGH!!! I know what I want but just not how to get it. So basically thanks so much for posting this cause this helped a little lol
Talisha Bills It took us some time to set a date and I only really started to make it a priority after I watched a movie Catch and Release and didn't want to put it off anymore.
My husband and I got engaged and planned a wedding in 3 months. However, when our families and us had disagreements on finances and other wedding decisions, our wedding fell apart and we had to replan our entire wedding in ONE WEEK. And we did it, and it was amazing. People of all ages told us afterwards it was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended. Don't focus so much on the details, focus on giving people and yourself a good time, because people aren't going to remember the details of the day... they're only going to remember how they felt about it. We had sooo many people try to give us advice, and at the end of the day, we just focused on basically throwing an amazing party and everyone ended up loving it. It wasn't the most glamorous wedding ever (it wasn't ugly either though lol), but really no one noticed that my flowers were fake or that I bought my dress a week ago. They were too busy eating delicious tacos and dancing to a seriously bomb DJ. That's just my 2 cents! In other news, my husband and I celebrated our two year anniversary yesterday and our first daughter is two weeks old as of today! Wishing you the best and that married life will be as great for you as well as it's been me. :)

Love the dress you picked. Also I totally get where you're coming from about planning a wedding and everyone's opinion. My wedding is officially 18 days away and it's stressful. You'll get through it and it'll be amazing. :)

All of the dresses your were trying on were lovely, and the one that you selected was exquisite. You looked radiant in it. And I hope that if anyone gives you a hard time about the dress you picked, you remember that moment on that pedestal when you were glowingly beautiful in a GORGEOUS, fun, romantic and truly STUNNING wedding gown. Becky you look so pretty! I love the dress you chose. I'd love to see videos on you wedding planning and budgeting. There's so many videos out there for the 'fun' stuff but planning a wedding under budget is hard!
I do really love the dress you picked, it's elegant, still gave you that nice layered skirt you wanted and the lacy bodice you liked as well, so win!! Glad you picked it, and I like that the waist is also simple enough that you can alternate belts if you choose for something more glam.
I'm watching this after watching the actual day-of vlog of your wedding day! It was really helpful and self-soothing to see how well you put everything together simply by sticking to your vision. I'm six months to our current date, and I'm going a little crazy myself. This was so nice

Going through this as well! My wedding is in September and it felt so weird finding my dress in March and then now I'm in this waiting limbo until my first fitting!!! Loving your vlogs and diy tips!
You are going to be such a beautiful bride! Oh my word, gorgeous! Im also planning a wedding for this summer and can 100% relate to everything you said in the car, it can be frustrating, especially when someone like me, not very strong to tell people no, but i know what I want, so having people constantly telling me not to do, or to do different things with the wedding can be very frustrating. I'm glad I'm not the only one going through it and you're right, you just have to stand strong in your opinion, after all, its not their day. Cant wait to see more vlogs! Love this series! Love you!

I love the dress! I actually worked in a bridal shop for 6 years and this just made me miss it so much seeing your experience! You worry about changing your mind in that timeframe but honestly in my experience brides can pick 2/3 years ahead and they still love their dress, the one is the one!

Becky congratulations on the engagement! I totally love your dress choice! I was hoping you would pick that one. It looked beautiful on you!! Just like your mom, every aspect of the dress was amazing, the corset, the straps, the back, the belt, and for me definitely the skirt!! It's funny you mentioned the Pinterest board, because I've had one for a couple of years now too, and I'm not in a relationship. I sometimes question whether or not I should even have a board; but I agree, it does give me a vision, and helps me to hone in on ideas I really like and want. It's so much fun putting it together. I can't wait to see what else you have planned!!
