Oh my goodness! I really don’t know what to say. Today has been really stressful and I needed something positive to give me the strength to keep going. And this, this was that thing. I feel like changing some things when you’re in a rut can be the breath of fresh air you need to get that spark back.

I didn’t mention this in the video but I should’ve: One of the things I did to keep myself from being so down on my skill was to look back at my art from a while back. I feel like I haven’t improved at all, but I have. Doing that gave me a little more of an umph to my step when it came to drawing. It may help you, too! And thanks you so much!

Thank you so much! I think this struggle of finding your artist voice is a common one. I was kinda hesitant to post this because, I’m still in the process of finding mine. Yes, I believe I’m close. Really close, but I have a few kinks to sort through. That being said, I wanted to break down my realization to show others that they’re not alone. I hope that by doing that, it may help others who are having the same struggle. Anyways thank you so much! It seems we’ve both been on this journey. Maybe we can be traveling partners 😅❤️

@@honeypotstudios Absolutely!! The journey truly is never over, since your style can only be one of many. When you talk you can have multiple tones fit for the conversation or scenario. Genres like horror and comedy require very distinctive line weights and tones to get their strengths across; not to mention the medium in which you share the art (animation, comics, live-action, etc. A point made in Supereyepatchwolf's video ''How media scares us''). That realization got me so excited to explore my limits and rebrand what I have had so far. Crushing the syndrome and embracing that there's so much to learn and not enough time! So I am very happy you decided to share your experience : ) I love comparing notes and growing together!
