Hey everyone... Today it's time to address the elephant in the room... The Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Shane Dawson makeup collab has hit the Nordstrom RACK!!! How, why and when did this happen??? I go on the hunt for our products all around LA and actually find some. Let's investigate this and I also get Shane's reaction about it all. Yeah, keyword is "rack". As another noted, it is like a Marshalls ... but with a few more hidden gems. In my college days, my go-to clothes stores when I was going to college at NYU were Nordstrom Rack, Filene's Basement, and Century 21.

There’s nothing wrong with being in a discount store. I’m glad he addressed his prior comments about it actually. This allowed some people on a tight budget to enjoy some good products so it’s a good thing all around.

As a single mom with 4 kids who always come first, ALL of my high end makeup comes from clearance stores. I'm glad you are embracing this because it's the only way lots of people could be able to obtain your brand. I will kill to come across anything from your line in a clearance store. Even if it was used! I've not owned anything of yours and have followed you for YEARS. Hopefully it will appear in clearance stores near me soon! Please embrace this and be happy more people will be able to use and love your brand!!!

Also mercari and makeup bst have his products brand new too. I was able to get my hands on conspiracy for $33 shipped and jawbreaker for a similar price. I feel ya though I am a mom of 4 as well and can't afford high-end make-up. I'm so glad I finally got to try his stuff. I know so many people dislike him because of his past but idc, I love his personality. I also appreciate that he is literally someone who came from nothing who built a name for himself. HE did that and should be so proud! I also appreciate that he has no filter and keeps it 100% real!

I was always confused when people were laughing at certain brands being sold at discount stores. I love going to Marshals to see what they got in. They sell a lot of higher-end makeup (MAC, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Stila, Smashbox, etc). I love that place! 😁

Mm, but if they’re only going to buy it there doesn’t mean he has new customers. Honestly, no one should ever buy makeup from these kinds of stores because they do not quality check anything or ensure returned makeup is disposed of correctly OR ENSURE PEOPLE ARE NOT JUST OPENING SHIT AND PLAYING WITH IT RIGHT THERE ON THE SHELF AND THEN PUTTING IT BACK. There have been sooo many cases of fake makeup palettes being sold at these stores. It’s really not a safe idea for consumers.

We (your audience) understand, and detractors will simply take everything out of context and are full of judgement and lack of forgiveness. I remember when you opened up in Shane's series about the serious issues you had going on, how you said people would weaponize everything against you. Nordstrom Rack is still expensive to me. I would take that as a compliment, though, Also, if you don’t have it in your contract they can’t resell it to other stores, then I see no problems with it. What I did have a problem how the stores lied to you and said they didn’t have any products of yours. I am glad you are a good sport and they let you film.

I haven’t watched or followed Jeffree or Shane in a while, but it really looks like Jeffree is doing so much better now. I hope he is feeling as healthy as seems to be in the video. I ALWAYS KNEW those two were TRUE friends. There’s no way you can fake the chemistry they had whenever they made a video. My favorite will always be Kylie Skincare review. I laughed so hard! I think Shane should be his editor because he’s got to trust him and he’s got the talent. And they mesh very well together.

Time of the season has always been a favorite song and for this version to be in the series was so amazing for me. I remember listening to it on repeat. Some of my favorite lipsticks are in the Shane collab. Sometimes it’s such a treat getting makeup thats no longer being distributed by Too Faced or Anastasia with a discount

Me too, I didn't want to look into what happened, I wanted to stay away from the speculation and crap and negativity, so I wasn't really sure either, but I'm so happy and relieved that the are still friends. I've always loved the friendship they share. I think they really brighten up each other's lives, and are really meant to be together (as best friends). Not to mention, they are so freaking fun to watch!

I used to work at a Nordstrom Rack. We have a wide variety of companies we accept returns from so we tend to get some brand items or large named items that otherwise would never be there but we are required to reshelve them and at a marked-down price. I once found your palette in my store (as a manager) and took that for myself as quick as I could.
