I'm not a cellist but violinist, so when the high D was missing I was so confused and just tried to sing it (with my horribly unstable voice, lol), when suddenly the beep started. I've never been this close to crying because of a scale, haha.
When you realize that the music starts with solo cello, then it was accompanied by the Guitar. The Guitar faded away and was changed by the Piano. And in the end, the Cello faded away, leaving the Piano plays those heartful quarter notes.
Tomix Ravenloss Alp Kyu means the main peron always has a heart monitor mostly because they can only do this memory changing stuff when someone is dying. So in a way, it's a character in the game. (Do correct me if in wrong Alp Kyu)
If at all possible please go play this gem for yourselves first guys. It's a great experience watching someone else play as well but there is seriously nothing like experiencing something on your own for the first time. I'm so excited for this! My feels are ready.

After To The Moon I thought that no game could ever have a heavier impact to my innermost, because I had never cried that much while playing a game, or even reading a book or watching a movie (well, except A Grave of The Fireflies by Studio Ghibli maybe). But Finding Paradise stretched my heartstrings even more by creating one of the most powerful stories ever made in any medium: a wonderful narrative about a fragile humanity. A story about dreams, hopes; craving for happiness and for something, that never was real, but still made someone feel as a whole person. Thank you, Kan Gao. It's all I can say. Thank you. A thousand times.

I like how in this trailer you can hear the cello representing the beeping sound, but the last beep being the actual machine making the sound. And in the game in Colin's last moments you can hear the machine beeping sound, but the last beep being made by the cello.
What I love about this trailer is... At first, it doesn't tell much about the story actually, but when you come back after finishing the game.... Everything make sense
Just finished the game today. Kao, you have outdone yourself again. The thing I love most about your games is the amount of love and soul you pour out into your work. I can tell just from the music and how the characters interact with each other that you put every ounce of love into your work. I loved the game Kao. Thanks for giving me another great experience. In To the Moon is just barely stopped myself from crying my eyeballs out near the end but with Finding Paradise... this game, THIS GAME MAN!! Once I heard Faye's Theme play near the end along with Wish My Life Away no game ever made me feel that way til I played Finding Paradise

Firstly he's inspiration and ideal for me... But more than that he's best story teller in this whole world..
I played the game myself and it was so worth it. I don't think I'll ever get that experience watching someone else play it. Besides, the game as actually has a lot more options to explore through compared to TTM, although not enough to really change the main plot, but they're a nice addition. It makes it so repayable or maybe like you won't get bored watching someone else play it after you've finished.
To tell you the truth, I was extremely skeptical about Finding paradise. But now… after completing the game, I want to thank you Kan for making this story. It just so happened that I had a stage in my life when I was very lonely. And I found understanding and partly support in this game. I thank you for that. Good luck creating new stories. Oh my gosh, that last C in the tonal scale being a heart monitor beep hit me hard... I feel like crying and I haven't even played the game yet, what the heck. T__T Also, the stages of young and old at the same time going down the middle? I feel like that's how this game's story is gonna be structured, very interested.
I like how the music combines piano and cello so nicely at the beginning...and as the song ends, the cello fades away and the piano is left alone, with the sound of the heart monitor appearing at the end. This perfectly depicts the wife (the piano player) being left alone as her husband, the cellist is dying.
Just finished this and had to find a way to thank everyone who worked on this. These stories are immensely touching and really manage to get to the heart of giving meaning to a life. I'm having a hard time putting words to my emotions and thoughts right now and I imagine it'll be that way for quite a time to come still. Thank you for your contribution to being human!!

I finally finished playing it and oh boi was it a roller coaster. I didn't think I would love it this much. You have really outdone yourself Kan Gao! I cried so much while playing this game. The conversation Faye had with Colin hit me so hard and i still don't know why but I was crying so much during it. The song Laura Shigihara sang was so good. I can't listen to that song without crying. I'm glad she came back to do a song for this game! The dialogue was really funny, I'd find myself bursting out laughing during the first act. The art in the game was fantastic! The scenery was beautiful! Honestly this is one of my favourite games I've played in 2017! I look forward to seeing your future projects!

Ariel Bosi just finished. To me I think it's better than to the moon. To the moon has better story but finding paradise is more relatable to everyone. You'll be amazed.

Kan, congrats on your To The Moon series. They're some of the greatest games of all time. But please, I make one request... Please bring back Quintessence: The Blighted Venom! I experienced the first 11 chapters of that amazing game back in 2012, and still cherish that game to this day. Unfortunately, it isn't a finished game, and the story has still yet to be fully told. If you have any desire to do so, please, I ask that you pursue the completion of this epic and wonderful story! People need to experience your first project in its entirety! Thanks again for all you've done!
