Finally that mean we have to make sure we all live till the end of 2020 and hopefully don't die to experience imposter factory... I am happy to be alive now. :)
Karatee778 I knooooow :( I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Like- 2020 isn’t even CLOSE to starting now I’m sad I have to wait so long. It’ll def be worth it I hope 😊
@@hoangkienvu7572 (Sorry for the BAD english). Platonic love is not necessarily synonymous with impossible love. The original concept describes a love capable of going beyond the physical and sexual aspect, a more "fraternal" type of love. A love capable of rising from body to the soul. .. From my point of view the love of Johnny and River can be considered both romantic and passionate as well as, above all, platonic: They have bonded since childhood, and although Jhonny could not remember their promise, he still felt the desire to be reunited with her on the moon. Even their misunderstandings highlighted the "superior" nature of their relationship. In the end his unconscious was even able to generate a fictitious River that could accompany him on his last great journey. This in my opinion can be safely considered platonic love ...
@@neromalpelo6891 lol you're that 'I'm not like the others' kind of person aren't you? That's why you try to make platonic love sounds somehow superior than romantic. Johny's desire to go to the moon, fulfill his promise and meet River again is all because of romantic feelings. Johny even said it himself when he's building their retirement home that he rather sacrifice her wish than losing her to the illness, that he accept to be selfish just to keep her longer. Faye and Colin is the true definition of platonic love, Johny and River not so much, as a lot of it is just simple and canal wishes for them to be together, and that's the point of their story.
"So, Kan, what's taking so long with development?" "Well, what's actually been taking up most of my time is this trailer." "Oh, you're putting a trailer together to show off the game? That's so-" "Oh no, it's not to show off the game. It's way better..."
"So... how much of this stuff in the trailer will actually end up in the game?" "Ehhh... _maybe_ that sprite of the Earth? Nope, wait, we replaced that."
To The Moon: “Such a beautiful sweet touching story!” Finding Paradise: “Again, such a beautiful sweet touching story!” Imposter Factory: “Such a... wait... NANI??”
See Rosalene, is just having those nightmares of dabbing due to experiencing the horror itself performed by kids. Truly she is traumatised by this event
Kan Gao. Well Done. Seriously. Well Done. Once again, blown away. Imposter Factory did more for my expectation, and beyond. Life ain't great. With each passing day, I am reminded that possibility is a private party that I'll soon never be invited to. Every hope. Every dream. Every desire, a frivolous concept taught carelessly by teachers that we can do anything if we put our minds to it. That's garbage. But even then, knowing that works like Imposter Factory or Finding Paradise exists... reminds me that humanity ain't so bad after all. That even if life is but a ticking clock to our demise, there's always moments that remind you existing ain't bad if you can read one more good story. And the music... absolutely sinks me into the mood every single step of the way. It's games like this that make me simply amazed a human did this. Like- even if I spent my whole life trying to create a work like this, I wouldn't even come close. Tho. I won't stop trying. That's my life goal. To make even one person feel the weight with a story I wrote. A seemingly impossible goal, but a goal nonetheless. Thanks. And seriously, I'm a lifelong supporter at this point. I'll buy every game you produce for years to come, thats a promise right there.
a few things 1: i lost it when Neil took off his own head. 2: HOW CAN YOU GO FROM EPISODE 2 TO EPISODE 10 LIKE???? 3:the animation of the characters is incredibly good like oml the amount of effort that must of taken is truly incredible 4: at 2:49 you can slightly hear the bestest detectives in the background linking the Neil and Eva to this story somehow 5: my theory is that this whole game takes place in Neil's head as he is shown to be using the machine that allows you to go into someone's mind so I wouldn't be surprised to see "the great detective Neil" come out of nowhere to solve the murder or something. plus Eva saying "NEIL WHAT?" could be her learning that Neil is using the machine. 6: end of 2020? YESSSSSS i'm so excited this is going to be so goooooood. 7: HUGE props to the freebird team because the more I see of this game to more excited I am keep up the amazing work :)
Episode X probably means there's just not a number for it yet, hence the "(?)" in the thumbnail next to 3. There may very well be another game before the end of 2020.
The whole trilogy is Niel Wats story , you can see that from the first game ,he was taking pain killers when the screen shake, the same screen shake effect when they were inside the head of the patient. Also to the moon DLCs hint at it as well. Actually,I think Wats story is more depressing and dark.
Hopefully this one heavily focuses on Neil & Eva and what the deal is with them. *Is ONE of them in a simulation all this time remembering things or what? **_Or perhaps one of them is an impostor who never worked for the company & this is their wish?_** I WANNA KNOW!*
Still not over the fact that a scene from the joke trailer (eva getting the call from roxy) turned out to be an important plot point for something that happens after the events of impostor factory (bestest dancers)
Funny how I just rewatched Cryaotic play Corpse Party again and then To The Moon after YEARS... now To The Moon returns. Life is funny. Where is Cry? I miss you and need a playthrough of this.
I can't wait to see what's going on with Neil. After taking painkillers in To the Moon, secret experiments with machine in minisodes and that scene after credits in Finding Paradise
Still upset that this track hasnt a full version available on the original soundtrack (at least looking at the trackslist , it doesn't appear anywhere). This is a proper banger.
I have a funny feeling this is gonna expand on Neil and his story. Somethings always felt... off about him. Like he has something to hide. I'm incredibly intrigued.
You'll always be my favorite writer/indie game developer 🌿 thank you for making To the Moon, those minisodes, Finding Paradise.. such intricate stories very well-written.
Please let the credits be a full version of that concert or include a longer/full version of it as bonus content. This is something I didn't know I needed in my life but now I do.
You mean to tell me Neil was actually Neil this entire time?! Welp. I've been effectively bamboozled. Still, I could not be more ecstatic to know this game is coming out so soon. You just gave me another huge thing to me thankful for today.
Before playing this, i would like a letter of notice, a warning. Do i need to go out and buy lots of paper?. Because excessive amounts of crying can lead to failure of my hardware, since it is not waterproof. Please respond asap. Thanks.
Bro, I’m coming back to this trailer after finishing Imposter Factory and it’s comic, and the part with Eva waking up is just more sad than funny now :(
Oh, I'm lucky to have just discovered this trailer. We're already close to end of 2019 by this point. I really can't wait. To the Moon gave me chills and made me cry, big time. I wasn't sure how Finding Paradise would be able to follow that up, but it did. Seriously, Freebird Games are masters of storytelling.
Kan Gao, as a precious bundle of creativity, you have an awesome sense of humour and impeccaple story writing skills. I really just want to make movies of these games... After playing them. And watching other people play them. Then playing them again... But eventually...
This game series really has held a special spot in my heart for sure. I've been a loyal fan since the first title came out and now every time I see a new post on this RU-vid channel words cannot describe how happy I am to see another installation! Kan you are awesome, hoping to hear more of Laura's beautiful voice so I can cry in happiness.
