One garage was having an ebay sale :) shipping included ... $20 funko pops. Alcohol 70% or higher removes marker ink usually on plastic.

Mitutoyo is a good machinist brand mostly Japanese made tool , I just sold a digital height gauge from them. They aren't as high tier as brown and Sharpe or starrett but they're good to look out for

I kinda notice that each of you reseller’s have didn’t taste when it comes to buying, and I love it, John you tend to zone in things that I would be interested in, like cards and sports stuff, I mean you do other things but I know that I can alway learn a little something when it comes to cards and collectibles. Subscriber for a long time John. I've been doing some binge watching ! I'm about half way to Dayton from ya. You've probably already worked this but, I have found 91% Isopropyl alcohol seems to take sharpie mark off plastics pretty good. Keep up the great pickin. Might slower on garage sales this late into the year around here but you do get around to the markets too.

Hello from Brisbane, Australia and I love your videos. Garage sales were very popular here five or so years ago but now you might have one or two on a Saturday morning if you are lucky. I am very envious. About removing that black marker. I have had a lot of success cleaning hard surfaces with straight methylated spirits. It's quite cheap at around A$6 for a litre bottle and a bottle lasts for ages. I have used it to remove permanent marker writing from CDs, DVDs and books so it's my first option in most cases. A good idea when buying levels is to stack them on there sides one on top of the other and see if they all read the same ...then flip them over and do it again. You would be surprised how many are out of true new in the store
