A barber leather strop is a leather belt with two surfaces, one for honing and one for polishing the edge of a cutthroat blade. Stropping removes imperfections from the cut and makes the cut shine like a mirror. The tiny pores of the leather grab at the rough burrs of steel on the edge of the razor and force them back into alignment. Hope this helps. BTW I got the baseball cards that I bought from you today. On a side note: I love the houses in the neighborhoods in all your videos. The wife and I are looking for a house here in Connecticut and everything is very expensive. Houses of those size/design and neighborhood would be north of 8-900K near us. A small 1000 sq ft cape is over 400k. Its frustrating. Thanks for videos. Great finds!
I've come to the conclusion that Yard Sales are much better in your neck of the woods! Here in Southern California, most are one step away from Goodwill Garbage! I'm jealous.

The belt-like thing in the barber lot is a strop. It would hang off of the chair and be used to sharpen the old straight razors....the kind barbers still use. The dispenser may have been for warm shaving cream??? I hope the Supreme stuff is okay. There are fakes out there, but I don't know how to tell. Kevin found a fake one about three years ago so you might check with him.
You missed the Black & Decker Workmate at the last sale. Looks like it says $75, that is an early model worth about $300. The give away is the solid cast aluminum H-frame.
Youve got around 300 worth of supreme give or take if you include a bag in each of your listings it ussually increases the sell price of each item by 10-20 as well. I would recommend trying to take them to a local sneaker resell shop you will definitely get an offer in the hundreds for all of it.
Please legit check those pieces and make sure everything is right. And no, supreme is not some designer brand or some expensive as brand. It’s a skate brand like any other.

I bought a paintball lot once at a sake. I sold the gun on ebay and listed the accessories on marketplace. I didn't use the word gun anywhere, but still was put into facebook jail for a month because paintball products were a banned item on facebook. I still have the accessories in a box somewhere in the garage.
