Cut a 1 gallon jug in half and stick the handle of the screw driver in the top part of the jug. It works great

That belt alignment tool could work to align a motorcycle drive chain too I bet. Pretty slick.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Putting this on a moving part where contact can be made that is against a moving surface, that moves towards you, CAN put the screw driver THROUGH your skull! A MECHANIC'S STETHOSCOPE is the APPROPRIATE tool. Making an error in judgement OR SLIPPING, here, CAN KILL YOU!

I can see that happening, or at least being hit in the face. When you’re holding your ear against the screw driver, your eyes aren’t looking at where the other in is and you can move it to the wrong spot and “bam!”

MAYBE also mark direction of rotation if belt is to be reinstalled.
