I've been following along with you since day one, watching you build out your van and all your travels. I've had the same goal, and watching you has been a part of keeping me motivated when I didn't think it was possible. Last week I did it! I gave away 90% of my belongings and hit the road. This morning I watching your video from my lovely boondocking spot in the Deschutes National forest, instead of my bedroom! I did it! And you were there with me 🥰
The area that you couldn't go into was closed because of the native American population. They have been isolating because they are especially vulnerable to covid.
Absolutely lovely!!!! I love your style of video just like your talking to your best friend! Safe and wonderful adventures to come your way. Thanks for letting us be a part of your journey
This is one of the most memorable places for me. My dad loved to bring his fishing boat here in this same place. He loved it sooo much he wanted his ashes spread here. I guess I can say I kind of grew up in this area during the summer months for several years. Your driving through the area brought back many memories. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning. I've never been that far west on the Olympic Peninsula and now I'm determined to make the trip as soon as possible. The Makah Reservation and Neah Bay remain closed until at least October 1, 2021. Hope you keeping finding sweet spots like that one.
Hello Chantell and Joey, I can not wait to buy my Minivan. What a beautiful awesome spot. Take care be safe and God Bless us all. Lady GG 62 year's young waiting to Travel. Happy Traveling...
I see the pretty painted rocks on the beach and then I remember that everything ends up in the ocean. Sparkles are small pieces of plastic that are almost impossible levels to filter. I can not unknow that. Those pretty rocks will help to destroy our ocean.
That little crab show was so cute. I really enjoy how much you love Joey. Also thanks for showing all these cool places I always wanted to see. Your awesome 👌.
Love ponchos. Being in places like you were on the water can really put you in a Zen zone. Those are the ah ha moments you can have in life. Glad you got to experience that. So wonderful-
I'm from Tacoma been so many years I been away and truly enjoyed your video today, mach me long for the sights. Thank you for taking me on a beautiful part of your journey. I'm in Florida living many years missing Washington . Maybe before I get to much older would love to do what you do everyday . Thank you again . Be safe.
Born and bred Washingtonian here, been to neah Bay but not to cape flattery, been all around the Olympic peninsula, rainier, and st. Helen's, but ironically not up to Mt. Baker or Adam's, those come next. Washington is a gorgeous state particularly west of the mountains.
Absolutely stunning and such a wonderful quiet place. Just a little bit of heaven. Fate takes us to the right place at the right time. Hugs to you and Joey. Have a blessed week 😁💖🌟
hello there, I'd love to have your lifestyle, however I don't drive or have an adorable side kick - Joey is quite the cute pea - but maybe in a year or so I'll be doing something similar ..right now I'm in Vancouver but would love to make my way back east. So I will drink my coffee and enjoy your videos and thank you for being you
My husband and I used to take care of some of those remote camping areas in the Black Hills many years ago when we volunteered for the Forest Service. Am SO envious! Would love to go back...
Greetings! You really lucked out with the weather. That area along with most of western Washington usually has a wet June and into July. I just returned from the area you were at and it was far more crowded, you picked a good time. Neah Bay is still closed. You’ll have to come back. You film composition and subject matter is wonderful. We always enjoy your videos and look forward to the next. Thank you! John
I really enjoy the shots with the sounds of nature. They're my favorite. Also the point up there is a reservation so they can make their own rules. Rez's were hit really hard by covid because most of them don't have the same kind of resources as other places.
Geez you just show the most relaxing scenery. I love it. I just subscribed because I’ve been watching your channel for a long time and I don’t know why I didn’t do it before today. Be safe in your journeys and always thanks for showing us around.
Chantell, I've enjoyed your channel - beside having the cutest driving companion and because you - like me prefer uncrowded places that are tranquil and most of the time have really seemed to be in your van. Alot of the others seemed to go to hotels alot more which I think takes away from the experience. I live not far away and want to try this in the near future and you have given me alot of information. Thank you for that !! Give Joey a hug for me!
I loved your video !! We live in Clallam bay and it is indeed beautiful! Hard to travel other places to vacation when you live here . Next time you travel here search the beaches for some of our beautiful sea glass ❤️ sometimes you might even be treated to some baby grey whale visitors to the shores ❤️ their parents send them in for protection from orcas passing by . You can stop by and look on the beach at the old coast guard barracks at slip point. It’s a rocky one not sandy and find tons of sugar agates as well. Enjoy the beauty of the Olympic peninsula .
My son and I were camped on a high ridge (the drive up was a bit terrifying) west of Port Angeles way off of 112 this week. It was very smokey, but we thought it might clear off as there was a lot of wind. That night we could see the fires in BC. We left the next day. Hell of a camp site.
Does Joey really just sit there with his food in front of him and not pig it all?? My little doggo only ever leaves her food if she’s got a belly ache, otherwise it’s gone in, like, 10 seconds. And then she burps. LOL!! 🤣
I work with dogs, therefore I've seen all of their individual eating habits with their meals. They are like us, all different ... some of my dogs inhale their food when given; some graze all day long; some chow down as long as there is food; some only eats until they have enough, and then they walk away from the remainder.
I'm waving at you from Vancouver Island 🙋♀️ I actually live in Sooke which is pretty much at the southern tip. Everywhere you're traveling now just looks like home to me🥰. Travel safe ♥️🚙🇨🇦
I have family in Clallam Bay… always look forward to our visits there. The tide pools are amazing, especially if you can get there during a negative tide. It’s a shame you weren’t able to make it to Cape Flattery! I love your videos and want to wish you and Joey a fantastic journey!
I'm headed that direction when Imgeton the road. I may never leave if it is half as beautiful as your videos!! Thank you so much for sharing all the information with us. Hi Joey!!💋
Beautiful, relaxing, and fabulous music choices and a little bit of singing - You have a such nice voice too! I love everything about this whole video. 🎵 💜🎵 💜🎵 💜🎵 💜🎵 💜🎵 Hey to Joey having the best days beachcomber and playing near the water. ❤🐾❤
Yeah i have family there. Its a small reservation. They may open up in october. Wouldve been cool for you to go to hoebuck beach and cape flattery trail amazing. But those little pull out spots have hidden treasures as you discovered. So much to see.
Beautiful footage. And that tree growing on top of that cliff was pretty darn cool. Why don't you ever have a fire? There so relaxing and you couldn't have been in a safer place to have one. Even had a fire pit already. Jus wondering.
