Im too tired to litter this with caveats so I’m sorry if this comes off bad but I’m tired of representation taking the form of “gay voice” and flamboyant outfits and acting feminine. Shawn just doesn’t understand that, depending on your hair type and length, it takes at least 7 minutes to wash your hair. If you’re not letting your conditioner sit for up to 5 minutes before rinsing it out, it’s wasteful.
I would think he understands that because of his hair type though?? You don’t get his sort of hair without a conditioning process, it’s quite literally most important step lol. But it’s not recommended to wash your hair every shower. I think the disconnect here is black/natural/curly hair, regardless if it’s in twists or locs or not, isn’t washed everyday so it’s not included when discussing daily showers. Showers are a quick every day thing, hair wash days are the main event once a week.

Not with my hair. 5 is just on that alone lol. Even if I wash while my conditioner is setting, I'd have to go as fast as I can. I have to brush/comb my hair before so I'm not spending 30 plus minutes in the shower just on my hair (and way less hair in the drain). It would have to be a body wash only day. But two 20+ minute showers a day is crazy.
Shawn… it literally wastes water for us ladies to shave when we’re not taking a shower. We gotta shave legs private area some girls shave their arms… to use the bath spout or the faucet would literally be wasting water trying to rinse off all that hair and shaving cream😅
I shower once every 2 days and I take like a 15 minute shower I try to be quick but I also want to make sure I’m completely cleaned and washed all over. And on top of that I wash my hair everytime I shower so that adds an extra 5 minutes at least, I use shampoo and conditioner so it takes even longer
Was in the shower while listening and it was 13 min BUT I washed my hair that’s long AND I was just on a plane earlier today and that grosses me out but I agree 5/10 mins is a perfect amount of time showering on the regular😂
