Your videos have lots of loud music. We played the videos for learning some valuable lessons. But background music is so irritating that it didn't let us to concentrate on the real thing and we had to discontinue the video. Educational videos must not have any kind of music so that the learner can concentrate on learning. Thanks
I'm going to die! This is really helpful but when she said "next video..." I sealed my fate. I have a test tomorrow and this might come up (y=mx+c), so unless the "next video" is in less than 2 hours... Well, I don't even want to finish that sentence. Overall however, this is really helpful. I love her as an instructor and the music also helps out a lot in keeping the focus.
You are right saying that rise is divided by run, or in other words, change in y / change in x. And so if the rise is 6 and the run is 4, then it is 6 / 4.
When you draw a triangle, you have to count all the squares that go up, to find the rise, and all the squares along, to find the run. So, for the rise, you are counting up the y-axis from -3 to 3, which is 6 squares, or Rise = 6.
