If you want a real laugh try H&M! I don't think they even bother measuring the jeans there, they just slap a label on and hope for the best.

Honestly and sometimes it does trigger me coz im loosing weight and so im like yay i fit size 8 and then i go to another shop and size 12 is the only one that fits

It's the same for us bean poles babe, I own jeans ranging from eu size 32-36 that I wear regularly. If the jeans don't look good on you, it's because they are ill-fitting or badly made, never think that you have to change your body to make the clothes look good, fck the bad clothes. Ps I love the pull&bear jeans on you

Brands should just make clothes xxs-6x and just have 3/4 different body types take the photos. It would make online shopping so much easier because you wouldn’t need size departments you just have clothes for any sized person to wear

Its a conspiracy haha! I'm the same as you, size 12, sometimes a 10. I wear a 12 these days. I think they've all messed their sizes around to make us feel rubbish lol. I went into h&m and the 12's were so unrealistic. I have a new pair of size 10's at home (purchased pre-pandemic when I was closer to a 10) ready to get into (that never happened during the pandemic haha) but even the size 10's I have a home I can actually get into, but not the new size 12's in h&m right now, not a chance! could barely get them past my thighs. Crazy! Love your try-on videos, so helpful and real!

Levis are just always the best option. I mean if you spend 30pounds on 4 different trouser and you dont like the fit everrrr it is soo annoying and trust mee: a good levis jeans will last forever

Hey guys! I'm around a W28 normally but after lockdown currently a w30 and have always struggled with jeans getting past my hips or fitting my legs... I've recently been buying men's vintage levi's off ebay and honestly! Never going back to the likes of Topshop/missguided etc, unless I go for stretchy/skinny ones. Just thought I'd say as it was kind of starting to affect me negatively how jeans never fit my body shape? But now I've had some faith regained, hope this helps! xx

I’m so glad I came across this video! I’ve been a size 4 forever and I wanted to buy some new jeans but haven’t got ages, so checked sizing charts and the same measurements that put me at a size 4 (2 years ago), now put me at a size 10/12, so I’m completely baffled and don’t know what’s going on with brands and their sizing. All I can say is I feel your pain! Just madness to me that the same measurements are being used for what seems any old size. No wonder we all struggle in finding our size and feeling good about shopping, damn! xx

I didn't see any problems with fitting, everything looked good on you. Even the baggy ones😄👍 I think jeans brands have to start making jeans for different body shapes and not only indicate sizes and also a body type

Hi! I ordered the monki jeans right after i saw your video. It came today size 28 (usually eur38) and it's almost perfect size, slightly loose. Since its 100% cotton i think i need size 27, did your jeans get bigger after you wore them a few times?

I’m a 5’6” male and I’m watching this because at this point my only option is trying girls jeans. I’m short and chubby, it’s virtually impossible to find 90s style jeans that would fit me properly without getting a tailor 💀

I use to work in topshop and would always go up a size in my jeans as they come up so small, same as you I could get in them but they're not comfortable. You look great in all the jeans though, I'd have rolls hanging over whereas you look great 😁

Did you used the asos size chart to see every brand’s fitting? In the app if you put your measures asos suggest your perfect size for a lot of brands. Unfortunately nowadays sizes are clearly unrealistic and push girls to a “body standard”... don’t let a size define your beauty 💖✨ gorgeous 😊

NA-KD is not an expensive brand. They are in the same “category” as PLT but it’s just the Swedish version. Na-kd can however tack up their prize since we don’t have PLT, Oh Polly etc in Sweden. So Na-kd is pretty much the only affordable brand that has trendy American clothing, if you get what I mean.

i dont mean to sound rude but i would suggest measuring your hips and waist again if you havent already! i used to be a size us 6/uk 8 but when i visited my ma for 2 weeks i went up 2 pants sizes so i had to buy all new pants in size 10/12. i tend to get w30/l32 the most but i have noticed that not all brands do measurements the same so sometimes a 8 may fit me better but i sufffer in a w28. its best to double check measurements so youre not overly bummed when clothes dont fit!

If you can order jeans by inches rather than sizes you are much better off and read description about fabric has it got stretch no stretch if it has stretch you can normally order a size down you want your jeans tight when you first put them on if they're stretchy fabric because they will fit you perfect in an hour once they stretch out lol if they fit you perfect straight away within an hour they're too big lol 😂🤣

My waist was 30 inches when I was a size 12 US (UK 16) and now my waist is around 28 inches and I'm a size 10 US (UK 14) sometimes 8. I bought collusion jeans from asos with a 28 inch waist and they fit but only because they were straight leg jeans. It's quite annoying. I want to buy more jeans from asos but I don't want them to gap too much at the waist or be too tight on my thighs.

It's such a struggle right! I say order multiple sizes because you can always send back? But it's even more annoying when neither size fits how you want it to, fingers crossed you find a pair you like x

I think w30 is actually a size 10 I’m a size 10 and always where this size, I have the ASOS brand jeans in your size that ASOS recommended me, I may be wrong but I always thought it was size 10. But honestly like you said sizes don’t matter but what fits you and what you feel comfortable in!:) a lot of jeans forget we have hips and bums! Haha

It depends on which brand you buy from some size 12 are 30" waist usually brands aimed at younger women Topshop river island and other brands are 32" which is pretty bad make younger girls that might already be feeling insecure feel even worse 🤬

Top shop is ridiculous for this. I have two pairs of mom shorts different colours both in the same size and one is massive and one is tight. The jeans are all over the shop as well sometimes I’m a 10 sometimes I’m a 12 and sometimes the 12 is too tight. So I wouldn’t worry x

Also size 6-10 people have the same issues, the problem is they don’t seem to understand you have different body shapes, they make clothes most of the time for just straight up and down bodies no hips and sometimes a bit cleavage but a lot of the time none

Hi, at no point in the video does she call herself fat. You can see she's very careful with this while still being honest and real, but also she's well within her right to talk about her self confidence when trying on different clothes, and how they fit people of her size. It only takes a quick scroll through the comments to see how many women appreciated this, and want to see more of it! She also does an amazing job of talking about how this is very much an issue with different brands, and issues within society that need fixing, in this video and others on her channel. :)
