Finding the real chained oak of Alton Towers 

Just back from a week in Staffordshire and as well as the inevitable visit to Alton Towers we decided to explore some of the countryside surrounding the park and look for the chained oak which is featured in the Hex attraction in the park. In case you were not aware, the oak actually exists and is not just an idea made up by the ride creators.
