The thing I adore about your channel is that you are so original in everything you do. You are so creative in your videos and I look forward to everything you post. ♥️♥️♥️
Lauren: Trying to get these sparkles off. I look like Edward. Girl, I swatched a bunch of my Devinah shadows yesterday and this morning. I feel like a magical creature, for sure!
Yesstyle is my guilty pleasure, I'm always window shopping and changing my loves list. Western lipsticks and glosses don't hold a candle to Asian brands- except when it comes to deep colors. But one day I will find the perfect oxblood or burgundy!
What are your favorite k beauty lipsticks? I have bought two from romand and I really love them, but the colors aren’t quite right for me and I’m always looking for recommendations.
The brand Romand’s color range is a bit more elevated then most k-beauty brands. Maybe you could look there. I personally love their Glasting Water Tints but the brand has a bunch of different lip finishes and color collections. I think the Milk Tea Velvet Tint collection might have the color you’re looking for.
@@adriannablack9495 that's the one downside- most things are more orange or lighter than expected. But I love the Romand lines, like the glasting water tint recommended here, their matte and juicy lip tints, even the bullet lipsticks! The deepest shades are usually in the fall/winter collections outside the original lines, but the burgundy in the bullet lipstick is pretty vampy and feels like a silicone based comfort matte formula! Edit: merzy also make some interesting colors. I have one from them that's deep but I don't like the smell or feel as much as the ones from Romand, it's just heavier all over in terms of consistency and cloying smell
I just love Lauren’s singles weeks!! Last nights video inspired me to play with all my lovely singles! As of now, I have them in palettes by brand. After watching these, I think maybe I should rearrange them by color instead? Or, maybe make some cool girl dupe palettes? Now I want to go play with my sparkles too!
I just got some empty palettes and started building a 12 pan for travel and like a 20ish? Pan one for daily use. I've still got a few coming in though that I need to finish them. It's really fun honestly
@@MercenaryCupcake Devinah restocked their newest collection yesterday., and I’m pretty proud of myself Bc I only bought 2 bc they are unique to my collection. Idk how she moves her singles so often without gauging out part of her pretty shadows. I’ve got one of those magnet sticks to help, but I’m always denying them when I try to move them around. Lol!
It’s been a couple years now since I’ve got on the sparkly train, but man, I can not HELP but to get SO excited over some sparkly shadow still!😭🤚IT NEVER GETS OLD!!
There’s this K-beauty brand Unleashia on YesStyle and Amazon that has a 9-pan palette called Glitterpedia with only shimmery and glittery topper shades. There’s one in the palette that is like CP Ritz on crack but the whole palette it stunning. I highly suggest it.
@@Rain_Reign Yes. Not all the shades do, just a few. I thought I’d suggest it here for people who love glitter, glimmer and shine. If you like pressed glitters, the pressed glitters are really beautiful. I mean, I said it had glittery shades and it’s called glitterpedia. Haha
Love this! Yesstyle has such neat and innovative items! It's so fun to see things outside of a Sephora or drugstore haul! You MUST try the Jenny House sparkle jewel shadows - I think you'd looooovvveee them!
The Aritaum Shine fix eyes are some of my favorite glittery shimmery eyeshadows! They have a pretty large selection of shades to choose from and all have that beautiful creamy texture to them!
I’m so glad that you did this! I have been searching for those Holika Holika shadows since your last video. I even saved the video to reference! I am having trouble finding more than 2 shadows on the KVD shadow stick, too. I think that those are going to be slowly discontinued, too.
Definitely look into the Missha Modern Glitter Prisms. I get them from YesStyle or Stylevana depending on the sale/in stock availability. Some of the Etude Look At My Eyes shadows are also very sparkly. Missha also has a regular "glitter" single (not marbled like the prisms) that are textured sparkle.
I have an etude house one from years ago that is a dupe for urban decay midnight cowboy (or midnight cowgirl I can't remember haha) Korean singles can be very hit or miss depending on what your preference is
Those VDL and Shine Fix shadows remind me of the Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow pots. They have the same texture in the pot and are in a glass pot with a gold lid too. I kinda feel like I need to get some of those VDL shadows because the chrome paints are more of a metallic though they are still beautiful I want that textured glitter, baby!
I had to pause this video and comment because the concept of this video is absolutely amazing and you did a really good job with the content! More please 🤗🙏
This video was sooooo helpful Lauren! Been wanting to try some shadows like these but didn't know where to start. I ordered a few based on this video and they just arrived today. I love them! I'm starting to focus on buying individual shadows that are special. It helps stop me buying an entire palette for one or 2 shades. I don't want my collection to have loads of filler shadows
Lauren thank you so much for these neutral beauties. My fave champagne single is Terra Moon Rubidium and Palladium. $8 liquid metal sparkly pigment. Mirror like shine. Palladium is light rose gold. Also Andromeda a is pale pink sparkle with a soft champagne shift.
This video is exactly what I need !! I love shimmer eyeshadow in a pot or glitter shadow in a tube, I have come across some of my fav from Korean brands. But living outside South Korea makes it harder to swatch or see it in person. And btw, I was searching hourglass scatter eyeshadow pot dupe the other day , and I came across a RU-vid and said shimmer fix ( your no.1 pick in the video) is a dupe for hourglass scatter eyeshadow pot, very similar packaging and formula. And I got that shimmer fix eyeshadow after watching the recommendation, doesn’t disappoint me. Great video
Love all of these shadow videos. I'd love to learn more about indie shadows. Every time I think about buying some singles I get overwhelmed by all the options. I try to use the links to single shadows from your videos and HLP's video but they are often sold out.
I was searching for what to buy on Yesstyle and then you made a video on eyeshadows (that and blush are my favourite makeup items). Good timing - thank you ❤️
And you are the reason I was on Yesstyle in the first place too - looking for the Holika Holika eyeshadows. Right now in my country it is night and I’m up because I am sick and you are a pleasant break in my Love is Blind binge 😂
I just bought a few of these and some other special little nuggets I found on yesstyle a few days ago. And for anyone wanting those holika holika pigments they are basically the exact same formula as the touch in sol medallist sparkling foiled pigments which all 7 are still in stock on their website right now and if you spend $40 you get 30% off so if you want them go go go! That's quite a deal!
I've had my shine fix eyes for years and they are so pretty and worth it! I have a pink one and a more coppery one that I bought a couple years ago when I was in Korea last. Highly recommend those ones. They were like my first special shades I owned
One of the best videos you’ve ever made Lauren 😅 have you ever tried the CT Jewel Pots? Would like to seek how some Sephora brand formulas compare to these!!
You should get a few of the new Devinah shades that are similar to this and compare them to the Holika Holika. Terramoons came out with a few beautiful neutral sparkly shades like this, but it looks like the Devinah are thinner and more sparkly
Cold Smoke shadow from GlamShop is a dupe for HH Moon Flesh shadow. The particles are more finely milled but not so much that you can tell straight away when it's on the eyes. I own both, bought HH on Lauren's recommendation and Cold Smoke just because I love those tones.
Ok sorry I don’t mean to sound pedantic lol but just so you are aware, “Bbi@” is pronounced like “bia” or “bee-yah” English doesn’t have quite the same sound that you need to make the ㅃ sound, but just think of it as a very forceful B sound Thanks for the great content though! Lots of new sparkly shadows to put on my wishlist!
This is the video I was waiting for, have you tried the Ulta brand foil shadows? The lighter ones might be the same tier as the Holika holika shadows. Try rose gold leaf
Sooo I did find some of the Holika Holika shadows but I think they are from their holiday collection this year? I grabbed four of them so I hope they have the same formula!
You should try the Romand quads. They come with 3 mats (quite sheer and dry, so dont set your primer. I do like how they are not to pigmented though) and 1 simmer/glitter shade. Thet are like $10, and i find the quad worth it for the glittersahde. They used to sell the glittersahde as a single, but i can't find it anywhere 😊
I had the worse week. Nothing went nicely. I had to reschedule for my Derm to get the bloodwork done. Not an issue. Tuesday I went to the Dentist for a filling and wound up with an extraction instead. Anyways...seeing this made my week. Plus I can relax an recuperate until Tuesday. Full time job juggling doctors and tests and ugggggh! Sorry did not mean to come here and dump my week here. I got my nerve blocker shots (32 every week 😑) so am comfy with a blanket and my Chocolate silk and Tea. Separately, of course. LOL
Etude house always has these kind of funny names for their eyeshadows. I have an old one of theirs from years ago just called “platinum” and it’s really pretty. It’s just their standard powder shadow but it’s nice.
lauren!! you really made me fall in love with single shadows and i was able to grab the holika holika shades thanks to your recommendations some time ago. i didnt know i needed this video... kept an open tab on yesstyle to add the ones that tickled my interest 😍
The biba shadows are probs similar because kbeauty with eyeshadow is really, really focused on tone so the slightest difference has a market lol but!!! Missha has some stunning glitters
I'm looking for a single champagnish sparkle for my beach wedding in May. Any suggestions? I'll probably just use bronzer for a crease shade and smudge a brown pencil along my upper lash line. I want something beautiful but not chunky looking and something that will stay in the heat. Help!
To be fair, kbeauty products are sheer and it's meant to be that way. Kbeauty is more "natural" and isn't meant to be super pigmented because koreans don't like super glam or heavy looks.
The Missha prism shadows are also super super pretty…they aren’t potted shadows, but they are singles. Cookie Prism is my absolute favorite and Blue Hole Prism is also awesome :)
