Thank you guys. It definitely helped that Chad studied in the UK though. I know that’s always a question for recruiters to us. Also the are you a permanent resident of Canada, UK etc.

He did a post grad through University of London but all online during the pandemic, his field is quite niche so it was mainly because his line of work as well. Unfortunately even with the qualification, he still needes full sponsorship etc and his law degree hasnt been converted either. I think its mainly dependent on whether your skill is needed as to whether you will find sponsorship.

@@thedailyreev yea the trick is to find a company willing to sponsor. I did the open to recruiters on LinkedIn (I thought you had to show the badge to everyone) thanks for that tip
