I’ve always heard my ancestor was a captain of some kind. Me being an amateur genealogist. I just found out my direct ancestor is Captain William Tucker. This is very disheartening to find out your ancestor is the one that brought the first slaves to this country! He started it all! My blood line! The first African born and baptized in the 13 colonies was named after his owner, my ancestor. I’m in tears. I’m proud to say I am my ancestors worst fear! I am have been for a long time human activist of all colors, religion, and sex. I fight for black lives and will till the day I die.
Rocadopolis 1032 .All African Americans are descendants of the Hebrew Israelites. Our ancestors fled into West Africa in 70 A.D. and later sold into slavery which brought them to the United States as well as all four corners of the earth.
