Hello Rabbi. I saw a recent video and this is a bad time. But you said now more than ever is a time to reach out in a sign of compassion. I am just a gentile. About two years ago I had a dream that I was following an inner calling. Part of it was to learn both old Hebrew and modern. But more so I was learning it all. And I was shown in the dream I couldn't start that yet. I became lucid to the fact that I couldn't start without the blessing of a Rabbi. This is a really bad time to be asking. So I went back a few videos to make this comment as not to draw unwanted attention to that stigma. I have always yearned to understand this conflict in particular and now is a good a time as any. Though I doubt you will see it. I'll leave it to God. Because it is your God of Israel that has always spoken to me. Thank you. Your wisdom is vastly underappreciated.

Very good! For quite some time I have made it a habit when I first wake up in the morning to say to my LORD, "This is the day the LORD has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it".....but I like what you offer as a meditation better! I wrote it down and will use it!

Thank you for this perspective. The visceral feelings of KNOWING that I matter without external validation from my core family is game changing. I’m approaching my inner healing in a whole new way. Not from the perspective of grieving the lack of childhood unconditional love and support that I will NEVER be able to get from the past. Instead can forgive myself for chasing the past and redirect my energy to loving myself in the present. I matter, I’m worthy, valued not because of the world’s approval but because GOD deemed it so by my birth. WOW!

I have to say that your talk this evening could not have come at a better time, Rabbi! I am actually doing a talk next week on strategies to build one's self-esteem. In fact, in my closing statement I will be leaving the audience referencing a quote by you. 🥲 Thank you for this. I’m 38, as of 9/13, and I have always struggled with my value. It never connected with my heart when ppl said “if you were the only person on the planet, Jesus would still die for you” and I gave myself permission in the pandemic to take a break from Christianity. It doesn’t benefit me if I am attending church mostly bec it’s the best/right thing to do. This explanation seemed to make the most sense to me ❤ and I didn’t hear it in church…How about that?? It’s been such a struggle for me to not feel guilty or like I wasn’t being a good example as a mother. But I never felt important so it’s hard to grace your food all throughout the day when you don’t believe you’re talking to a God that cares about you, specifically. My value is separate from my parents. I think this is the healthiest belief I can adopt. For myself and my babies. Thank you Rabbi.🤎🤎🤎

The regression back to childhood led us to see that the purest environment is the nest. I was thrown out of a psychologist's office y told I could not be helped if I couldn't admit the truth. She was certain I was not admitting suicidal thoughts because of my history and family. I fully concur with the lady in the story! I told her many times I wake up grateful to be alive, but that is not the same as wanting to die! My cousin, may she never succeed, has tried many times. I'm sure that prayer of gratitude made all the difference 🙏!

The best thing about self worth is always best I feel when u can be there to listen to others because it's more satisfying for them to be able to feel understood for their feelings but yet show them there is a better way to go about situations because they them self need to see the other side of things in all that can make sense not to just their feelings. So it's ok to have thoughts about ur feelings but while ur at thoughts think of others worth as well and how they may handle situations and if they are only one sided then u will never see eye to eye in a sense to take any steps to make things better. Remember to be a leader by actions not thoughts for words.

I know I am matter , but this experience has unfolded to tell me I don’t. Certainly this video strums the heart strings of those who can sense something beyond this. My neurons aren’t wired in a way I would even sense someone giving a $#it I am pulled into your content , you extend a place folks might be able to belong.

I get it. And thank you. I know who I am and learned much from my inner self. Yet, though I have many many accomplishments from serving others, I've lost everything because I served others. And I mean practically everything. From love, friendships, and a long-standing career and more. This all happened because after a lifetime of giving and supporting others, I decided for once I needed to also do the same for me. For this, I have been placed in isolation because most that surrounds me today are people who hate me for wanting to care about myself for a change. People who have the power to assassinate my career and character. Do I matter? Yes, but only to them. Do I matter to me? Yes, but I have no power or resources left to give value internally or externally. And though I can look back and see all my accomplishments, I can't help to ask myself that if all I've done only awarded those who take advantage of others than what matters that I was born? Because my life is now a prison of isolation and mistrust of others for servicing others and their growth.

That's a great momento to learn. I've noticed how people with a good heart let themselves be trampled by evil ones, because of helping and serving. What you need is balance: first - you help those who want to be helped, those who want to rise and become better persons; second - you must do it from a position of power, there's no greatness in doing it while destroying yourself. I can give question, who use alcohol, who have not the sorrow for pay the bill, etc an advertisment is to much on tv, etc. I react, in learn path, about self worth. If I watch to source of live give live, an in live is what give worth, to inner (human). What, if this worth excample is lovely, one pound an excample sad, one pound...i wear from out the beginning worth as present from out live. Oftenly the solution to the most abruptly taken paths into destruction is the complete surrender of one's life to God in the proper devotion to serve a greater service to the new humane humans that arrive as childs of God, this builds a better destiny. The ones that lived mostly in sin have to put away their old ways and contribute with obedience or else they might have a fixed fate by their threads of abuses that are recorded as horrid disruptions and insolent infractions of the Laws of the Universe, The Law that was made by God for all beings to know the notions in order to be decent and properly considerative.

Sadly, abuse hapoeningbto meb57 years. My mother broke all the time my trust and worse. And can you imagn, in my late 40ties, PhD, 8 years Harvatd, she told I am stupid and You are going to wish that you never will be born!!!!! Same my brother, 5 years younger, mental issues, also abused me in this age..even physically.. I forgave so many tines, but when he was laughing about me, after a sucide attempt 3 years agi, hahaha you are still alive, oaoas plant, I cut the connection for ever....
