Thank you for your review of my routine! I appreciate you, was smiling from ear to ear through out. I will try to steal some of your ideas like using gloves 🙂❤️
Michelle . I have learned soo much from you and I need to be methodical about my hair care... you really help me to pay attention to what Ive been doing for my hair...
This is great because I watch both of you faithfully and you made this easy for me.!🥰I know the stretched tip is the only way I can avoid some SSN, well at least not as many.Thank you mama!
I also put a few braids in my hair the day that I wash my hair because it helps the product sink in better and smooths the puffiness down and I style it the next day.
I love the way Janet does her routine, I am following how she does it too. On her oils, it says you can pre poo with them , which I done today. Very nice.
Your hair actually almost looks as thick as Janet's. You're doing a good job with it. Wondering about your email address and if you received one from me. Thank you all for your prayers, hurricane Ian visited us at around 2:15 p.m. today and while it is still a bit windy in my area and we have a few trees that came down, I think we dodged a bullet all thanks to prayers. My heart goes out to the Floridians and the Islanders though. I'm really tired and hungry, Ian came much later than we expected which was around midnight last night. Any other Floridians here, know that I am praying for you guys.
oh many. well I'm glad you didn't get hit as badly as expected. I didn't get an email. let me check spam. However, the old email address to the blog works now
@@FineNaturalHairandFaith thank you, I sent it way back to the other email address so perhaps I will need to forward it to the old email if you did not receive it or if you don't find it in your spam.
@@neicycombs3533 thank you so much dear, I really appreciate that. I was able to check with most family members throughout the state and everyone seems to be okay.
Hi I enjoy your channel and respect your opinion on afro hair. I recently watched a video by Natural Nadine she states that most African American hair is high porosity by nature, when a lot of us are thinking our hair is low porosity (if it hasn't been relaxed or color treated). She references crime scene investigations where police can determine the race of a suspect based on their hair noting that most African American hair has raised cuticles ( high porsity). Please comment
Your hair is looking so healthy. My hair is super fine so I am really going to study your videos to bring more life into tresses. My greatest challenge is tangles after rinsing shampoo on wash day, can you please provide me some tips or videos to watch. Thank you.
hi Neicy i hear you. Blowing the hair out and keeping it stretched is a game changer for preventing those tangles. Then, oiling your strands every few days. In next week's video I'm demonstrating
@Nico Nichole this is pretty much what I do too! And I don’t think it’s a lot at all. My nobly thing is I do not detangle before washing. The extra manipulation isn’t need. The shower stream is essential! But of course I do it before DCing. Always do what you think is working
Yeah I get so many tangles so I think I should try drying my hair on cool or medium heat. You know just putting it away wet is so convenient!😂😂😂 but I’m gonna try. I’ll catch up once I get my products!!!👀😱😂👍🏽❤️🙏🏽
Great review of how your usual routine differs from Janet, along with what you will keep from it and why you will return to aspects of your own routine. I am going along with you, as you follow Janet's routine and I too, absolutely love the cycling method between wash days. After three wash days, I have gotten used to only washing my hair every two weeks and actually feel good about not having to wash weekly! One thing I have continued is prepooing and am reluctant to discontinue it, for the same reasons as yours. The only issue I have with this method, is my hair gets so soft, it does not want to retain any bend from my two strand twists, even after 5-7 days of being twisted. I wonder if my hair is getting too straight. I only use a leave in prior to using the RevAir, a heat protectant and afterwards an oil. I am not using Janet's products, but I don't think that is the problem. Seems my hair needs some kind of product to help hold the curls from the twists. Any suggestions? I love that you are doing this!!! Thanks mucho!
OMG Rina literally I am sharing on this in the next regimen update video! So i may as well spill now too. I too am not holding much definition. I need a curl "enhancer" or maybe even some gel to help "set" the twist out pattern. I demonstrate my results in an upcoming video and while my hair is stretched, there's barely any twist out pattern. The suggestion is to actually do braids instead of twists. that's what i did in the photo i showed my braid out the other day. I do love the look of a twist out better though. I also feel the relief and and ease of not having to wash weekly :) i wouldn't go past 2 weeks though
@@FineNaturalHairandFaith I really appreciate your response, Michelle! I agree about braiding being better for curl definition. But, I hate braiding my hair and to boot, my braids are not as attractive as twists and when I take them out, the definition is not nearly as good as when my hair is not fully stretched... I find myself putting my hair in a loose bun mostly when I take it out. I am, however, willing to make the sacrifice! You need to come with a solution, Missy! 😘😘
@@rinawallace1962 LOL!! you see i told you that I didn't care for braid outs either. It's just not as uniform a curl as I'd like. OK so how about this...braid the root only and twist the length in a rope like fashion, then use an elastic band (material with no seams) on the ends). That's actually what I did last night but will see what the definition will be like when i take it out later when i go out
@@FineNaturalHairandFaith Sounds like a good option! I will try after I take my hair down today and restyle on Monday. Sending good vibes for a great hair day for you. Yours always looks beautiful!
Took a quick look at Janet. However will not subscribe for the same reason I will not subscribe to nap85. I want to continue to ❤️ my own tresses but if my youtube was flooded my view list with THICKE, BOOTY CRACK tresses. It would negatively effect how I viewed my own. (particularly if not my texture and I think you know what I mean. Eventhough, you not my texture either, its similar enough that my hair likes similar products). That said, I vist a variety of hair channels, even some wyte girls and take away what I can use. Just very protective of my self-esteem and how I nurture myself.(conscious and unconscious) i am thinking about the revair. MBL length here I come!!
i can totally relate. i do follow other channels of thicker hair naturals BUT mostly for some tips and some hairstyles. I dont have an issue with my self esteem being affected by them but I do censor what I allow myself to watch. I know it's a real issue for some. Thank you for your insight
You know...I've used it before washing before so I think so. some people use conditioners vs oils to pre-poo. this definitely coats the hair helping it to retain more moisture.
