I play finesse at touchdown and halftime But as a snare drummer I can't understand the struggles as all I hear is mellophone, sausophone, sax, and trombone

@@NuclearRegulatory I agree saxophones do have nice projection but I have to agree mellophone is more noticeable then sax but it’s not bad

Francisco De La Cruz I dose hurts my arms because I have to slide the slide in different position and it hurts my mouth because of the high high notes

Having switched from baritone to trombone this season, I miss my valves lol! We played this at a slightly faster tempo and slides were flying. Hardest part is the melody at 35, gotta make those super quick transitions from 1st to 3rd position (the C to Db is easy) ...But that's what practice is for, right? 🤯

MrHman21 I play trombone as well, and alternate positions, such as playing D in 4th and then C in 3rd, are key.

Jessica Mckenzie but clarinet and trumpet and sax get harder parts more often in this song

its jxy not necessarily, they look harder but their instrument makes it easier so it balances out. it's much harder to play fast rhythms on trombone because you have to move your whole arm instead of just your fingers (and I know because I play trombone, clarinet, and baritone) so even though it comes up more often for trumpet or saxophone, it's not as difficult to play.

Well yeah probably I don't know about anyone else but I can hold my chops on trombone a lot easier than clarinet. I played my trombone for the first time in like 2 months at band camp today and I could still play high Fs and Gs above the staff easily. The bgger mouthpiece probably helps. So I can see how it's a little easier for you but more tiring at the same time. Especially with the altissimo high Ds
