I'm still throwing the buzzbaits for bass & snakeheads. Here, the rockfish really fight when the water is in the low to mid 70's. When I troll for rockfish, I always use 2 rods & 2 different lures & if they don't work, I put on 2 new ones. Sometimes just a different color makes a difference but sometimes it takes a new color & new type/style. A lot of nice smallies.
I am too. Just trying to give my elbow a break🤣🤣🤣 yes a sometimes a even a very small change can make a big difference which how many fish you catch! Thanks for watchin Chris!!!
@@Pertfamoutdoors I went there in July for first time and only one deep hole had smallies and suckers in it but I could tell it was pressured with worm cans everywhere and a fire pit
Awesome!!!! I got your order and I'm gonna get them packed up soon and shipped out! They won't ship until Monday afternoon tho cause it's sunday🤣 thanks man I appreciate it!!
Hope to see you on the trail sometime ish, i have gadgets for you, a couple of quick attach mounts that i use to carry fishing rods on my bike, they can fit most anywhere. because, everytime i see you riding the bike you're carrying the rod in your hand, and i would rather you not have another crash lol finally headed out tomorrow, but havent decided on up or down from smithton haha
Haha that sounds awesome! I honestly never thought of that before, and sounds wayyy safer than carrying it in my hands!!! 🤣🤣🤣 the bike is down for the count until sometime next week when I get parts for it. One too many trips with it in the rain/mud and I got water in the gearbox and wiped out a bearing. Thanks for watchin, looking forward to meeting you out on the trail sometime!!!
It would be interesting to know if I'm catching the same fish, I'm fairly certain they are different fish. The only time I've noticed catching the same fish is in the spring during pre spawn.
With the colder temps tonight, I'm not sure what will happen. But generally speaking, they should be chasing schools of baitfish. So covering water with a spinnerbait or buzzbait would be good, then when you find one slow down and throw a fluke or any finesse bait basically. I like my spiral hooks on a fluke/tube for when you find them!👍👍 thanks for watchin!!!
@joshkreutzer9809 may I ask what area you fish? Don't need to be super specific just generally. With the buzzbait, the sooner the better because cold temps will come sooner than you think and at some point it'll be too cold for the buzzbait! Can't say exactly when but it'll come sooner than you realize!!!
