If clear water, bad weather, or a tough bite have left you scrambling, we're here to help! When tough conditions call for finesse fishing presentations a lot of anglers don't know what to do. The truth is, its easy! Here's what you need to know...
Every angler has "confidence baits" they turn to when conditions are tough. For Tim, the reach for light line and a downsized presentation is an easy one. From tiny swimbaits, to dropshot, to Neko rigging, he's confident in downsized offerings.

Tim is “keeping it simple” with his 6 rods, day box, and 37 lures on the deck. 😂

I am not sure if I was slow to the party or what, but the day box concept would super simplify my day on the water. I am constantly complaining about having to open and close boxes on the deck of my boat to get baits to swap out as I am trying to find out what the smallies are eating that day. That is genius, and I can't believe I didn't think of it. I too love that in the fall, the boat traffic is almost nil, as all my sporting friends are in the woods! I get the lake to myself, which is AWESOME. Crossover rings are the best invention since sliced bread. The ONLY downside, which is also an upside, is that once you insert the hook into one of the loops, they are almost impossible to get out if you want to change the way you are fishing that bait, ie neko to wacky or vice versa. That good is that they are super reliable and rarely ever break off at the hook attachment. Lastly, the Quiver work, both in the 4" and 6" are GREAT worms for neko and shakey head applications. The head design on Quiver and Ned Bomb pairs up perfectly with any shakey head and ned head jigs. Just a really good, under the radar bait. Good stuff Tim! Fall Finesse is right up my ally!!

I'm always glad when somebody who knows validates some of the stuff I try on my own even though some people think it's goofy. Swim bait on drop shot is one of those. I just want it to swim deep 🤷‍♂

If you guys are in smaller ponds and seeing fish blow up on small baitfish and ignoring your flukes, top waters, Ned rigs, drop shots etc-which happens to me a lot in the fall when they are eating the tiny guys-try throwing small JDM cranks. I’ve been killing them on the Megabass X-75 X-Nanahan, a downsized version of the 110 but even smaller than the 110 Jr. OSP Durga a close second.

I definitely heard of a different way to throw the spy bait. you kinda just toss it out and work it like a wacky rig, and it shakes on the way down. and you poop it like a jerk bait and let it fall again. both interesting techniques on an interesting bait
