Fire brigade!!! Why doesn’t anything ever change in Nigeria. Why wasn’t Pesiero just retained after a successful AFCON. A new coach coming in in a crisis situation would have significant leverage to bargain for wages even higher than what Pesiero was requesting without all the associated instability. The only thing holding African football back are the administrative aspects and political interference. We have top players but mediocre administrators.

You don't phone and say coach I'm injured. You bring medical records to justify that and be accessed by national team doctors and confirm that you really can't play. Very unprofessional way of handling the situation from a big player like osiman, causing drama on top of another one.
VO outburst has shown that he can't be good model to young ones who are not only trained to play well but also conduct themselves in a professionally mannered way. Nigeria was a beneficial medium to his success as a young footballer and even till date.
Your observation is shortsighted because FG should never have mentioned any player as his problem. He told the Captain, Troost Ekong to be exempted but Ekong desired to play but he avoided Ekong, the same was Victor Boniface which he benched for the two WCQ'S.
