As per my understanding, if my study permit was issued before October 7, 2022, I will be able to continue working more than 20 hours per week while waiting to receive my program completion letter to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). However, if my study permit was issued after this date, I can only work off-campus for a maximum of 20 hours per week. I would also like to confirm that my program completion letter will be sent to me via email by the Registrar's Office once I receive a Graduated status on my transcript. Additionally, I understand that I must stop working after receiving the program completion letter if I am not applying for a PGWP right away. Moreover, I would like to know when I should submit my PGWP work permit. As per the information provided on the Canadian government's website, I can start working full-time as soon as I submit my PGWP work permit within 90 days after my program completion date. However, my study permit must be valid as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my understanding level from ircc. I got completion letter on 15 may . I applied WP on 28 May. I started working from 1 may. The job I started working was of tech and counts in PNP experience. My employer told you have to work or either quit. So I decided to work..Will it affect my PR process??

I am an international student and have got hired for a government job because I could work 40 hours till Dec 31, 2023. Now my employer wants my PGWP on or before Dec 31, 2023. My final semester exam result will be declared on Dec 22, 2023 and due to holiday season my university will give me the program completion letter around Jan 10, 2024. Can you please advise anything in this situation?? P.S - I have got my study permit extended until Aug 2024 even though I am graduating in Dec 2023 Thank you in advance🙏🙏

Hi. Can I ask you some question? Can I get some help from you? I have applied for pgwp and my sin number is about to expire very soon. I could not find a job yet and I was wondering if it will be okay for me to start working for a new employer with an expired sin number? (Can the company pay me and report tax even when my sin number is expired by the time they hire me?)
