Love the print 😍 We went to an artisan market yesterday and I was so inspired by all the beautiful things (I also bought more than I had intended to!). My Husband sounds like a fascinating read, I hadn’t heard of it before.

Eee! The Library series!!! I'm waiting for the audio to come in so I can immersive read it. There is so much that goes into organizing shelves. Glad the moving is going well! I've heard book 2 in the library series isn't as good, but still great! The Wager! I'm very excited about that one as well!🧡

❤📚 I'm so glad the moving process going well. A French translated book I have on my shelves and can't wait to read is The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. The Wager also on tbr! Lucky find!!

I also really enjoyed the book that broke the world. It wasn’t as good to me as the first one but it still was a great read. I’m curious to see what happens as well. I felt like the 2nd one read much faster and maybe it was just because it was shorter but idk. I would definitely recommend the short stories especially if you can borrow them. They were fun and you got to see more of the characters. I’ve had the wager on my radar since I finished his other book killers of the flower moon. I can’t wait to see what you think of it. That’s one I’d definitely like to pick up. 🧡🧡 the only French translated work that comes to my mind is the mirror visitor fantasy series. I enjoyed the series but it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea and has gotten mixed reviews especially the last two books. I’d recommend that as maybe a library pickup if you’re interested

🧡 I really wanted to find a death head moth emoji but no luck there-the print is fabulous! Maybe I’ll pick up the library trilogy when it’s completed. It does sound intriguing. The Little Prince I believe is translated from French-Le Petit Prince. I’m sure you’ve read that one though and seen the movie. Sweet classic.

I still need to read The Book That Wouldn't Burn! I'm currently about halfway through The Door to Door Bookstore and it's really sweet 🙂 and a nice break from fantasy.

🧡 I'm jealous you found The Wager in a free library! I've had it on my list for a while, but hope the price comes down. Currently it is still $30 at B&N. I did pick up Magnolia Parks based on you liking it so much. I watch a few other booktubers who also love it. It seems like a reality show in book form. Should be a good time!

Oh and I'm with you on audio books, with the exception of political books or books on social issues. Fantasy or general fiction I prefer physical reading though, it feels a lot more engrossing or I feel more immersed in the story.

I already talked about it in the Discord, but i've been reading and loving Orpheus Builds a Girl. From what you said about Poor Things, i think it's quite similar. I really think that Orpheus Builds a Girl would be a you-book. I've been wanting to read The Wager, but haven't yet. I might try to get to it during the summer. As for French books, my favorite book of all time is originally written in French. It's Toby Alone by Timthée de Fombelle. It's very hard to give a synopsis without spoilers that doesn't make it sounds like a children's book. It's more mature than the synopsis makes it seem (i'd say it's YA, but it reads quite different from an English YA book). I've read it a few times and there's one scene that makes me cry every time. It's amazing and i love it

🧡 Another great reading vlog and yes you know it more books went on my Amazon wish list. I love the print you received for your birthday. Had a rather slow week here, but I am halfway through The Housemaid by Freida McFadden, I am enjoying it so far 😊It is Mother's Day tomorrow so I am getting excited to see what books my daughter has bought for me 🥰

I have heard good reviews of Poor things both of the book and the film. I finished the night traveler and that was a good book but the ending was a little bit of a letdown, however it is also discusses the perspective of war as it is some of the book is set in WW2 in Germany. Great vlog.
