Nice to see this build nearly done! Your vids give me the inspiration I need to keep at my chassis swap. I'm also currently dealing with figuring out how to get the trunk latch to line up and work. It's those small things you never think of that take up so much time!

Casey..... How about a 3rd or 4th gen f body rear seat set up in there... Two little bucket bottoms with one bolt each. And a simple flat back. It's a bonus if you have enough trans tunnel to kind of make them tuck in. Think about it. They are usually pretty readily available.

Getting to the end of the road . Please wind the windows up .😆 The rear seats you could cut the bases down to sit them in lower .fronts well I'd just try L bracketing them in as your right the colour suits the car

Looks fantastic Casey. I keep saying it over and over but it’s true, you are doing an outstanding job on this build! A quick thought on the trunk, what if you did the same belt latch like the hood. It would probably be harder to make it so it’s not rattling around but it would be cool.

this is an awesome work, on an awesome car... i have the same, but this is a fleetline, and i have the styleline...

paid 125 for my 1949 fleetline with title i found in bushes in knobnoster,mo. it was all there. original. Mark Twain had lived down the road in hannible,mo drove my 51 there for a car show in lot was cool some of them were checking out my ride also. i had only lowrider there most mo at times was into hot rods. at least part i was in. they seem me get out with my long hair to my lower back probably not know what think. still got that long hair but is somewhat thinner.

and had electric antena on it 1975 caddy put a teardrop on it. looked cool. was on same place as original. was only custom car ever built. had many Chevies in my life many.

Sad to see this one coming to an end but excited to see the next build

Nice job on the car but late model seat just look out of place on any older car. They just look out of place. One reason that I don't like chassis swaps prefer modifying the original frame with a sub frame or Mustang II.

Hey Casey, I mentioned on another video that you were talking but there was no sound...I just figured out that I had my speakers balanced to the left side. So, apparently some of the audio is only coming out the right side.

Not sure if this helps but I have seats from a early 90’s couple deviled in my 49 olds 88. The front and rear are about 1 inch narrower than I would like.

put windshield in my 66 long bed chevy a rope and soap was told by glass guy you did she helped me i said pointing at my x yes is alot of work putting old glass. newer well right.

62 short bed had in it a 283 65 chevelle motor in it high performance 300 bucks. my 65 66 was also that motor my second car bought with army money. did not get car dad wanted me to the 53 fr dr ford yes looked great but wanted that chevelle. with the 66 front end on it 67 it was a 66 with 67 on it and by golly it matches that way from front to rear chevy never did it and should of. 300 buck or 500 it was. bad ass car. yup many cars have had. more than said here. mostly chevies.

I am liking how well this car is coming together. I think the choice of using the mat or flat clear coat is a better choice over all than what my choice of semi gloss would have been. Looks like your going to have some work on your hands to get the rear panel to line up with the trunk lid. While I like the looks of the Range Rover seats, at the end of the day the just don’t fit in the car or look right once they are in. Maybe something out of a Camry, Altima, Buick, Impala, Fusion or Taurus. Or even a 300 or Charger. How about out of a Chrysler 200 or Dodge Journey? I am thinking your probably lookin in the mid size to compact car interiors to get seats of a size which would fit inside the Chevy size and shape wise. One thing I have trouble visually with is the fit of the rear wheel in the rear wheel well. It looks out of proportion (to small) for the opening. The front wheel and fender proportion look just right. I wonder how a pair of taller fatter white letter tires like some old style Mickey Thompsons would look back there? The would fill up that dead space more.
