You inspire me to rebuild the first power tool I bought when I was eighteen, 38 years ago. A Makita 9504B angle grinder. I have used this thing for everything cutting steal, concrete, cutting tiles for plumbing pipes everything! The casing was badly faded and beat up so a light sand and spray with Rust-oleum satin lagoon which is the perfect colour match to the Makita turquoise. New bearings and brushes and it’s now like new and ready for the next 38 years!
Any time you can save an older power tool is a good thing. Too many have no idea that there are replacement parts available for most older power tools still... Thumbs Up!
Nice work! I have the 9035sb an was wondering Where you got the spare rubber part for the base plate from? Would be awesome to know! I just find the ones for newer models...
Great video - new subscriber here. One question: Would you pleaser consider not speeding up your videos? It’s much more relaxing and does wonders for anxiety to watch them and you work in “normal tempo”.
