As we continue the process of building the Tye River interchange with the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway we need to now complete the backdrop. In this video I'll show you how I use recessed drywall screws to attach the hardboard tot he supports and then add a layer of drywall joint compound for a smooth, finished look. While we're working on it I also will cut a hole for the tunnel going to the helix and and then complete the job of mounting the second section of hardboard backdrop. After applying seam tape and joint compound, we'll have a seamless 15' long backdrop and a scenery ready tunnel for Tye River. So let's get started!
