Welcome to Construction Simulator , the brand new simulation game focussing on construction and roadworks equipment. Construction Simulator on Steam store.steampow... Music by Epidemic Sound
I'd still love to see this series on more days than just mondays. It's quickly become one of my favorite series on the channel, and I find myself waiting for it all week
Good game play but if you want to be more realistic the crane boom is meant to be fully extended at all times(while in use) you just raise and lower the angle of the boom to get the hook in the right place :)
Pretty sure it doesn’t have to be FULLY extended just the needed length but apart from that I agree maybe I am wrong just never seen them fully extended unless needed
@@rcblitzfpv8346 Doesn't need to be, but the these cranes aren't meant to be scoped in and out while under load, an operator will set their boom length then work only from that length.
3:10 To prevent dragging the pillars when you lift them you can extend the boom toward the opposite end of the pillar while you're lifting it. 9:40 You can't return the crane because you're driving it. 12:25 Using a smaller vehicle is not always cheaper just because you own it. Smaller also means it takes longer, wich is time that could have been spent on the next job that pays you more than what the leasing would cost. Ofc this particullar job is so small you could have easilly used a smaller vehicle. 15:15 If you think this was a big job then you're in for a surprise further down the line lol (Maybe you should go build the hotel for the investor :P) 20:44 Fast traveling back to the garage is free, anywhere else you have to pay. 22:35 You should park your vehicles inside the garage between jobs. Your mechanic will repair and refuel them for you. (But you should also stop at a gas station whenever you go past one to unlock the company upgrade, even if you only need a tiny bit of fuel and repair)
Yes the mega comment! I wanted to mention the returning thing as well, since Daggerwin is (accidentally) spreading misinformation about the game. There's no "you need this later" feature, he was just in the crane! And yeah from what I've seen it's basically pointless to use your own equipment, especially on campaign jobs that pay upwards of a million on high job scope.
I think it might be good to consider completing one campaign first. If I remember right, the game has progression goals, and one of them is to complete a campaign. I forget what it unlocks though, might just be a second job site (which isn't that useful in single player). On the topic of the progression goals though, you should also make an effort to repair and refuel you vehicles at the gas station. I think there are also progression goals for doing that, which should unlock repair and refuel at your garage.
This game looks much more fun than I initially thought it would be. Didn't expect to have so much stuff to do. I thought it will be just static machinery like cranes and some trucks moving objects around the worksite, but you can buy stuff, have a company, go on the roads and everything!
I bought it after watching and it's quite a bit of fun. Just a shame no FOV adjuster or custom buttons on a controller but you get used to it. Would recommend if you have a lot of spare time 😅
It would be cool if the construction site had some NPC workers milling about or directing traffic. The construction sites look a little bit lifeless. Its a cool game just feels like its a bit feature lite in this release.
It didn't let you return the crane because you were still in it. you can't return or store vehicles your driving! You can also store your vehicles from the vehicle fleet menu. If you store them, they repair and fill with gas/petrol for free over time. You will need to manually repair and fill up vehicles though for a while so you can upgrade your company.
Now I know that this is a “Simulator” but it does take quite longer to do this. 😂 Also the boom on the crane is to be set before picking up and stays where you set it and just raise and Lowe the boom and the rig up and down. Love this series hope you keep it going. 👍
With an ideal lift, you'd boom out and cable in as you lift to keep the pulley over the attachment point. That way the unsupported end stays on the ground and doesn't swing around or get dragged against anything.
I have been wating a week for this episode. I decided to use that time getting caught up on FS22. I have watched over 50 episodes of Haut Beyleron to pass the time. 😂
It wouldn't let you return the crane because you were still sitting in it. Once you get out of the vehicle, it would have let you return it. It doesn't matter if you still need it that job or not because you can always rent another one or buy your own.
That noise barrier job (campaign) you're doing is in 3 parts incl. the one you do. Might want to do all of them while you're still at site. And driving right by a ? and not unlocking it. Come on! Dont be so lazy
Come on dude you can evolve with times farming simulator as brought u to the point of experience and construction SIM is like farm SIM abit try different avenue's dude
