Finishing Tutorial: How To Finish a Cross Stitch Bookmark 

Done is better than perfect. That's a good maxim for those of us who let fear stop us from making progress in our hobbies and projects.

Just started viewing book mark crossstithing & this was the best of the 30 plus videos I have watched. Thank you. I feel braver now to continue.

Taking into consideration this is your first video, you did wonderful with verbal & visual instructions. I have been a seamstress over 40 years & avid needlework artist over 30 years, therefore I have viewed many videos & yours was quite honest and enjoyable. Keep at it, you have a great future ahead.

Wonderful tutorial. How can I finish the edge without a sewing machine? What hand stitch do you recommend?

Should the iron be on low, medium, or high heat?

I would use felt as a backing instead of fabric, whip stitch the edges of the cross stitch and stick them together. No sewing lines to be seen.
