I prefer his UMK performance (in my opinion that was much more crazy) but he is still my winner and I hope he wins ESC 2023, I will vote for him many times I am glad you like this performance too+if you watch interviews or other videos with him you will see he is a very likeable man

Well, rarely you see something at Eurovision that fully takes you by surprise - this is doing that ! I think they have to win, nothing compares to this...there is so much energy, the rhythm, the dancers, we have to give them credit for this creativity.

@@kimacronym2521 As a finn has to mention 2006 Lordi in athens Hard rock halleluja. Peoples choise by a landslide. After that Sweden wanted a jury and in 2023 73,3% of peoples televoting Isnt enough. My sister said.. oh Finland is so good weirdly good this year. And when I saw it yesterday I didn't know what to think. Like there was so much happening. But today.. after I have watched it many MANY times, I think I love it. 😂😅 But you were saying that all the audience was singing along. And you could actually see (in your video 2.13) that he knows he owns the stage and the audience..Its he's show. 😃

As Goy spoke it out, I remembered I was looking for exact this word. And after the qualifiers press conference I found Loreen so entertaining and sympathetic that I was close to like the song and her performance. Now I´m grounded again. I even think, "tattoo" could have a greater impact without this pretentious staging and redundant play with scary finger nails.....

I still remember your first initial reaction. One already on the board and the other going, what the actual heck just is going on... It has been a while since then, and it seems like you have both lost your way to the land of rainbows and stuff. It has been a weird journey as Finn, because we have lacked the belief that we could win or even be in top 5 in Finnish. And hearing foreign people trying to sing along with the song in Finnish, it is absolutely INSANE.

@@ToyAndGoy I fully agree - every country gets its chance. What I thought is that the best songs/winners of the past years stuck to their native language, whether in Ukrainian, Italian or Romanian - every country should be proud of its own language. Me as a German doesn't like most German songs, but once in a while an artist comes along who finds a way to make it sound beautiful. Sticking with English is a bit boring....too easy in my opinion.

I do think Tattoo is a fairly decent song but I do very much agree with “it was good 11 years ago so let’s just do it again.” I’ve been supporting Finland since the song’s release and yeah I will actually lose it if they win. I’ll also lose it if they don’t but in a very different way 😂

After umk you didn't like this, but it's fun to see now you are absolutely loving it. This is so crazy and so rare to me as Finnish Eurovision fan that everybody is saying we are going to win. Even back in lordi I don't know were there this kind of hype although social media back then wasn't a thing and I was 13y so can't remember. Here in Finland we are loving this and it's in a way have made us even more proud that it's in our language. No matter that Käärijä win or not we are proud of him. This journey has made me quite emotional time to time because I'm not use to this kind of hype. After performance I looked so much forward to see your reaction because of reactions I waited it the most. Super happy that my stepdaughter 8 years ol is coming get into this Eurovision and I'm watching it together with her. Love you and all the best. Cha cha cha ✌🏼💚

Someone told me that Loreen is showcasing her heritage, and I was like "WTF this has to do with the song?!" I'm so on board with Kaarija winning over Loreen, and kudos to you for actually saying "pretentious". IDK, whenever I see Loreen she seems either like she's high, or like she was slightly disgusted by everyone around. Again - That's. Just. My. Impression. I don't watch lot of her interviews so I pretty much could be wrong, but I have no intention to apologize for not obsessing over her.

Lots of people expect the jury to hate it... but I really don't think they will. Songs like Toy, despite being a little coo coo, was still appreciated by the jury. And the jury usually doesn't give low points to fan favorite or high in odds songs either. I think we'll see a victory like 2021 where Käärijä gets like 300+ points from televote and carries himself to the top, just like Måneskin did!

And actually, ESC stands for Eurovision _SONG_ Contest, not Eurovision Singing Contest. Thes best song (Cha Cha Cha) should win, never mind who's the best singer. And Käärijä might not be the best singer, but he certainly is the best performer as whole.

Yes, Käärijä is not the best "vocalist" in Eurovision. 🤔 He did admit in an interview that he is bad at singing, and that he really should take some singing lessons lol! 😂 But I don´t think he needs that, because he gives us so much else and more, and I absolutely love it! 🥰 There is just...something special about him, and you can´t help but to feel happy in every second with him. 😌

Music is about so much more than technically perfect production. It's about what you want to say with the music and how can you deliver it so that people get it. And Käärijä delivers! He's so charismatic, so chaotic, so genuine. He makes me smile every single time. This song is not about singing technique and long sustained high notes, it's about attitude. And oh my does he have that.

A quick note about Croatia: I agree that silly entries are harmful to ESC's reputation, and I usually dislike them a lot. But I think it's different with Let3 because they are not doing it to be silly at Eurovision. That is their band's style, they've been around for a few decades and they've always incorporated live art into their performances. Yes, they are provocative. But this is them and I think they have a place at Eurovision, it can't all be mainstream. It's not in my personal top 10 or anything like that, but I respect it and I don't consider it a joke entry. And I of course love Finland this year, Käärijä is my #2 after Slovenia 💛💛💛

Finland really slayed -💚💙💜 it has the best staging.. 😍but the lyrics and vocals re bit... weak... :) but he won the hearts with his passion...., Sweden wont win, its just a copycat of 3 songs, Israel had as well a great staging, best voice, but... it ents so abruptly... , Croatia has a clear anti dictator and antiwar message so its great - its punk... my big hope is Austria... great lyrics, creative song, strong voices.... 😍😍😍 Top 5: 1 Finland, 2 Israel 3 Austria 4 Croatia 5 Sweden

Austrias performance will look too serious on stage (according to the rehearsals) so I doubt they will get enough public votes. They want to have the jury vote(though there are other singers who appeal more to the jury) but have forgotten about it what the public loves about their song

After his performance Im more likely to believe hes out of the race and its more like between Sweden/Israel and...France YES FRANCE. I absolutely adore cha cha cha, the guy is awesome but out of these 4 hes the weakest one so far. He doesnt even have to win to be remembered (SloMo *cough*) But it pains me to say - hes to polarizing and the song grows on you on like 10th listen. The very first impression is "wth am I watching this is scary" (actual words of my friiend, a typical casual eurovision viewer outside our beautiful bubble) and Im afraid the vast majority will be thinking so as well. I cant imagine juries getting behind this with so many vocally "great" entries this year, televote will be high but I'm not so sure about his "landslide victory" anymore - there are some other acts who can steal some "haha votes" from him like Croatia/Austria etc All in all, I can see him finishing 5th overall. And it doesnt matter because I absolutely ADORE him as a person and his song is one of my favs this year. Rant over, have a great evening 😅

Funny you should say that - I watched the semi final with a relative and her toddler and I told her she should have the toddler in the other room for this song because it might scare him, and afterwards she said it was adorable and she didn't know what I meant about it being scary lol
