The Asantehene has a house in London. Not a bad idea to own a house abroad, however, maybe one of many reasons why they dont care much about Asante and Ghana at large.

In conclusion, what these oyibo people are saying to Otumfour is, take ownership of your city and don’t leave it in the hands of those half brain politicians who lack critical thinking to do things right, and it’s time Otumfour do just that. Tell all future Presidents that, you want election of DCE’s , so that they will be accountable to the people instead of political appointees who thinks they are only accountable to the government.

It's very good initiative but the sustainability is key here. Don't just plant and leave it, ensure to control or monitor it growth that how it's done everywhere.

This is the reason why some Chiefs can’t rest. They wish they were in the position of Otumfuo and that if they can’t be like him then they have to bring him down. Bringing Otumfuo down is like bringing Ghana down. He’s even more influential than the president of Ghana and kuffour would attest to it . When Ghana wanted HIPC benefits kuffour tried for years without success and according to him it took Otumfuo just a phone call finish the deal within minutes. Alan also said the same thing about the free Africa intercontinental trade headquarters when it took Otumfuo’s intervention for the headquarters to be brought in Ghana since it was a contest between five African countries. Why should we allow some Chief somewhere to disrespect and try to bring him down?

It is a big shame to Asantehene that it’s another country which should come and restore Kumasi to its former glory,”The garden city” when he claims to be sitting on gold! What a clueless and pathetic chief! Black man with black sense! I am not sure Dormaahene is sitting on gold but Dormaah is the cleanest city in Ghana! What a shame!
