This is an absolutely killer combo, I feel tap troupe, microrow, and lockstep influences all in one. My only critiques are that the whistle kinda blends into the music sometimes with no visual cues. And I don’t know if this would be possible with modding, but I would have more variety of background fish, maybe some deep sea monsters? Don’t let this detract from the fact that the music is catchy and exactly a rhythm Heaven feel, and that the gameplay and concept are unique and but would absolutely fit in in a rhythm Heaven game. ❤️
I think a cool idea for a visual cue addition would be to make bubbles come out of the whistle for each blow, the size of each depending in the length if the note (pattern 1: three large bubbles; pattern 2: one large, two medium, one small)

Literally the only complaint I have is that the epilogue cards feature the red tie fish while in-game you're shown to control the blue-tie one. That's it. Everything else is actually perfect. Definitely rate this 96 flow points.
Sometimes I like to tap my finger on my desk to the rhythm as if I’m playing the game myself. This is really well done. If you told me this was an official game, I’d believe you.
Finally, Donk-Donk but fun! Really though their outfits are so good, the song is so fun, and playing along tapping at my desk I genuinely love the unique rhythm it carries. The fact we can get new games like this from the fans while we wait ever so patiently for a hopeful, eventual RH Platinum is so cool!
This looks so real! If it just showed up on my copy of Rhythm Heaven (Fever) I’d just accept it. The rhythms used perfectly scratch an itch I never knew I had, and to top it all off, the art direction is well near perfect

This is the 2nd ever fanmade rhythm game I've seen and it is so damn good! The music is so catchy and you matched the style perfectly! I was afraid it'd be too simmilar to micro row or shrimp shuffle, but you did a great job at mixing up the formula!

Love it! And lots of potential for a Finned Frontier 2! Could try and get just one dotted pattern in, with the whistles almost overlapping like the cues in Flock Step. Also maybe cutting the phrases in half

@@gabilegameur lady cupid speeds up without changing pitch this is only possible with sequencing (unless you want it to sound really bad) so this is the only song in fever (afaik) with a soundfont

Nice one... actually perfect one! Little bit hard one - have to keep pressing, quite fast tempo, and rhythm switch - but really nice. Especially using of sound queue is perfect. I'll not be surprised if I see this exact same (or similar) game can be found in real RH.
Hey epichaxguy, I now have a definitive favorite in planet land (that isn’t kitties). It’s lockstep. Shocking, huh? Well I have a 95 on it! When you get used to the rhythm, it’s very fun! What is most player’s worst nightmare is a fun minigame for me to get high scores on! You must be happy. While it’s not top 10, or even top 20, I’d have to say it is now my 21st favorite!
Both are built around switching between two rhythms. And in this case the second one here isn't too far off from Donk Donk's triplet pattern, so I can see the resemblance. Personally I'm actually reminded a lot of The Dazzles solely because it uses the same dotted eighth pattern, even though the gameplay is completely different
I had an idea, what if the fish start in a reef with a zoomed in background but leave the reef and the background becomes full of life and color with tons of fish swimming around.
