This is an excellent question! Firstly, though, this is not an object in Finnish, so no need to think about the object cases. As for your question about the singular/plural and your example sentence: it doesn't matter if you have one cat or several, it goes "Minulla ON..." regardless! And if you want to say "You have two cats", it will be "Sinulla on kaksi kissaa." (If you're wondering how it's possible that Finnish doesn't consider those cats an objects, it's because we kind of see "minulla" as a "place" where the cats are. I'm not doing anything to the cats by having them as my cats - in Finnish, anyway! Hope that makes sense!

@@sacredbolero "Minulla on..." = I have; "Sinulla on..." = You have... --> the verb "on" is just part of this "possession" structure! So you just have to think of the "owner" + LLA + ON as a fixed entity. Does this make sense?
