Finnish Midsummer - The Spell of Seven Flowers 

It's the week of midsummer celebrations and of course love spells in Finland!
In the heart of Finnish summer the sun doesn't fully set at all. Under the midnight sun everything is veiled in a dreamy lilac hue. It's so surreal. To me it feels like we enter this dreamy state for a couple of hours where our world collides with the unknown. No wonder Finnish people used to put all sorts of spells into practice especially in midsummer!
I've done many of the midsummer love spells ever since a was a child and I really hope the tradition stays alive for future generations too. So here is my version of probably the most traditional midsummer spell of them all, The Spell of Seven Flowers.
