This is the only performance that gives me constant shivers no matter how many times I listen to it! Weird thing is that the shivers seem to hit a different place with each listen. A couple of the judges/competitors comment the Diana's performance was far above the level of this competition. I read that when she was announced the winner, she sang it again even better! How could it have been better?

Hello Anna, I looked towards your reaction and comments as always. I don't know what (emotional well) Diana has at her disposal but it's deep, expansive and eternal. A complete professional performance........ Always have goosebumples when I listen (experience) Diana's vocals and artistry. For me, I would pay large somes of currency to see her perform this live. One of the other participants (Lady in red dress) stated that every cell resonated during her performance and didn't understand what she had heard. This is simply Beautiful! Exactly, I've never even heard of anyone that has taken this vocal quality into her head voice. I have listened to her many times and had kind of written her off as a gimmicky singer. But this performance to me is legendary. Have you heard anyone else do this, taking that voice past her flip point and into her head voice? Me neither. What about this arrangement, I thought it was brilliant. In fact the only word that comes to mind for this whole performance, EPIC. What do you think? Yes the "minore" is always more sad than the "maggiore",anyway at this point you have to react to "crow" that's a cover, the original is by Linda in the late 90's I suggest to give a look to it first and then the one of Diana which is even better. Stay safe

What a nice job you do pointing out and explaining all the many, many choices Diana makes here as she presents the performance. The sounds, the body movements and variations from head to chest voice show how much thought she puts into the development of her artistic interpretation. Before, if someone mentioned this song everyone thinks “Elvis”. However, if you are lucky enough to have heard this, now “Diana” is the Doppelgänger, the polar opposite, darkly beautiful and mesmerizing.
