Hello everyone! Welcome to the episode 8 of Radio Turku - Finns Abroad. Today we welcome Lauri and Pyry who travelled and even lived in foreign countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, France and the USA. It’s time to switch our point of view and to learn more about what kind of apprehensions Finnish travellers can face and how interactions with an international environment helped them to discover the world and their own selves.

Lauri is a former digital nomad who enjoys experiencing places and collecting stories. Lauri has worked as a bartender, translator, copywriter, service coordinator and currently holds the position of Business Development Manager for Delingua Language Services. He enjoys culture, photography, travelling, cooking and dreams of one day owning a sailboat.

A long time inhabitant of Turku and a historian who likes to meet new people. Pyry has lately been occupied by language studies and planning of new roadtrips.
