I am seeing the same fintech hub/sillicon valley hub from almost the last 4-5 years. Not even a single building has been completed since then. Nothing against you as a content creator, but this is "state" of our state. Its tough, being a content creator for bengal's growth, because there is just no content. Yup it was started by CM Buddhadev Bhattacharya & Ex Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee in 2010 which was later rebranded as Fintech . It was originally envisioned as the Centre of Eastern Zone Banks & Insurance Companies . People should not denote it as Fintech hub ,it's misguiding

Town and cities develop gradually over decades ...not in days...its better ....New town and rajarhat is changing its face from 2012 onwards, previously it was lacking basic infrastructure..in future kolkata will be getting shifted to salt lake and Newtown as planned city as its not possible to destroy and rebuild old kolkata. If attempts are made to imitate bangalore or Hyderabad results will be disastrous. Some geniuses may tease ,laugh and comment comparing kolkata with delhi ,Bombay, bangalore etc...remember it's easy to plunder in days but it's painful to build in decades.

@@dibyajitbhattacharyya6903 if we dont bring those area which you mentioned , under Kolkata corporation, then it is not possible to develop every area well & good..bcz those are comes under bidhannagar corporation and rajarhat municipality...therefore they faces budget division...if we can unite those area under one Kolkata corporation then more money is available for development...for example (BMC means brihanmumbai municipal corporation) they have huge budget every year for greater mumbai development ...Kolkata eagerly needed this at the moment..

Gift city is declared failed even after huge tax relaxation and rule and regulations easy very few MNCs open there office . And compare fintech hub to gift is idiotic as company doesn't have to pay GST for 10 years there, transaction in foreign currency is allowed plus numerous other benefits what fintech hub can offer other than cheap and skilled work force
